Stroll through the Seasons in Audio

Seasons: Psycop Briefs Vol. 2 is out in audio and I’m super jazzed for everyone to hear it. Gomez Pugh brings his Victor Bayne-ish best to the project. What I especially love is the nuance he brought to voicing early Vic vs. current Vic, as the stories in the collection span a couple years of story-time.
You can find the ebook, audio and paperback all through this handy link.

All New PsyCop Shorts

Psycop Seasons

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night…will keep a PsyCop from his duty. Because ghosts don’t take snow days.

Seasons: PsyCop Briefs, Volume 2 contains four novelettes and fourteen short stories. This all-new collection begins right where Other Half left off, with Vic and Jacob’s honeymoon. It then cycles through each season, highlighting various moments in the series with laughs, scares, tender domestic scenes, and of course, ghosts—then circles around to Other Half again.

Short. Sweet. Weird.

I’ve been watching TV on Rokus for ages but for some reason had never checked out the Roku channel. But I saw they had some new Reno 911 and I decided to poke around and see what else was there.

Gems.

Like Murder House Flip.

And Dishmantled, where Tituss Burgess blasts dishes at chefs with a food cannon and they need to then try and recreate them.

I’m intrigued by the short length of the programs, just a few minutes long. Maybe with content no longer being constrained to pre-ordained time slots, shows can be any length at all. I could definitely linger more with Tituss though.

It looks like you don’t even need a Roku device to watch – you can stream from roku.com (not sure if it’s available in all countries but it can’t hurt to try.)

Wow, a f’knife

So I was at the thrift store today and I spotted this amazing find. A f’knife! (With a spoon attached. And a bottle opener in the knife.)

Okay, it’s not really a f’knife but I thought it was pretty cool.

(The “f’knife” appears in The ABCs of Spellcraft #5 – Last But Not Lease. And have you heard the audiobook with the delightful Nick Hudson? It’s amazeballs!)
