Face Time

I got the new iPhone4 the week it came out. And I have to say I absolutely love it. I'm not a big technology freak, and don't really care about all the bells and whistles on the new phone. And as far as the antenna fuss that everyone is complaining about…yeah, I'm not having a problem at all.

But the feature on the iPhone 4 that's rocking my world? Face Time . Face Time is Apple's new video calling feature, where you can see who you're talking to on the phone.

Both my kids now live in...

Lora Leigh's Reader Appreciation Weekend

I'll be at Lora Leigh's Reader Appreciation Weekend (RAW) from September 9th through September 12th, in Huntington, West Virginia. This is a fun weekend where readers and authors can interact. Check out the website here . Lots of great authors attending.

There'll be fun parties, games, booksignings and opportunties to hang out with authors and your fellow readers at a very reasonable price. I'm looking forward to kicking back and enjoying my time with readers and some of my favorite authors...

Excerpt NAUTI AND WILD

Less than a month until NAUTI AND WILD releases! I'm SO excited about this book!

Here's an excerpt from RIDING THE EDGE, my story in the NAUTI AND WILD anthology:

Excerpt after the jump because of bad words, etc: [image error]

Rick Benetti had been fucked, and not in the fun way. No potential to shoot the bad guys, no uncovering a drug smuggling ring or going after gunrunners—he'd gotten the babysitting job instead. God forbid he should get a kick-ass assignment like the other Wild Riders.

One would think w...

Creatures

There are a lot of creatures where we live, since we don't live in a big city. I can walk out my door anytime of the day or night and find my yard filled with birds. We've had lots of bird nests on the property this year, so we've seen a lot of baby birds, too. We have these birds who drop their eggs on the grass (can't remember what they're called), so the babies just spring up and wander around on their spindly little legs like storks across my grass. the amusing thing about this is we...

Book Giveaway!

Two of my favorite authors have books releasing next week. And I'm going to give both books away here!

First up is LAUREN DANE'S INSATIABLE, the third book in her Federation Series: (I have serious mad lust for this cover!) I love this series. Sharp, gritty, sexy as hell, incredible romance with pulse pounding excitement and drama. You must read the first two books if you haven't already.

Desire is the most dangerous sensation of all.

With tensions between the Federation and Imperial 'Verses...

Wild Riders Stuff

RT Book Reviews gave NAUTI AND WILD an awesome review in their August issue!

These two authors prove once again why they are at the top of the erotic genre. These motorcycle-themed novellas are complete stories, not just chopped-up sex scenes with minimal dialogue. Burton's story especially is put together masterfully; it's a job well done.

Big thanks to Jacqui McGugins of RT for the awesome review!

I have ARCs in for RIDING THE NIGHT and I'll be doing a giveaway of those sometime soon. So...

Where In The World Is Jaci?

More aptly titled, What The Hell Has Jaci Been Doing And Why Is She Ignoring Her Blog?

You know, it seems like only yesterday that I blogged. Not last week. But I looked up from my desk and saw that it had been an entire week. Sorry about that. The world keeps spinning around me, and the tornado of my life keeps throwing its debris at me, so I've been busy chasing after it so it doesn't come crashing down.

When I sat down to write this blog I figured I'd fill you in on everything that's been g...

Random Whining For The Week

So #1 son and his family have packed up and moved back to California. That means I won't get to see this beautiful face:

Or this beautiful face:

I'm going to miss them all so much. Much unhappiness at my house this week.

And then yesterday I was out running errands and somehow managed to lose my WileyX sunglasses. They're my favorite sunglasses. Biker Dude called me old and senile. Then again he lost his wedding ring several years ago, so he's still the biggest loser. Heh. Still, my...

Update On My Garden

Remember my vegetable garden in April?

Let me remind you what it looked like when we planted it:

Here it is now:

It's grown into some bizarre alien life form. Not even kidding.

The tomato plants are taller than me. Here's a peek at some of the tomatoes in there. We can't even see all the tomatoes, but I'm sure we'll have plenty well into fall.

The cucumber plant is winding it's way around the entire garden and every day I look there's a new cucumber or two.

And the green beans that I planted...
