New 'Invisible Monsters' T-shirt - Shipping Begins Today
UPDATE: Today, March 13th, I await a ring at my door telling me that UPS has arrived with about 400 Tshirts from Forward Printing. Till that happens, I can't begin packaging anything. In short, once the shirts arrive, they will begin packaging and shipping in the order that the pre-orders were received. This will continue for the next few days until all orders are out. I am doing all of this alone, so please have patience. If you placed a pre-order on an Invisible Monsters shirt, it will go in the mail by no later than Friday.

We were feeling frisky last Friday and decided to have some fun on Twitter and Facebook. It had been a while since we did any sort of photo contest. The last one, which involved fans taking pictures of themselves as characters from the books as well as acting out scenarios, was a big success and winners got audiobook apps from Blackstone Audio.

'Choke' Variant T-Shirts Now Available - Reduced Price!
Last month we unveiled our newest Tshirts for Chuck's beloved fourth novel, Choke. Designed by Kevin Tong, the shirts were a hit and we very soon ran out of some key sizes. What you might not know is that we actually ran two separate orders of this shirt. The one we sold in December (and are still selling now) was printed using plastisol colors. This gives a much sharper, brighter design, but also makes for a slightly stiffer shirt. Unless you iron the shirt (inside out) or wash it a few times, it might feel like you have a giant decal on your chest. Which is fine. Many people might not have even noticed that, and the feeling goes away on repeated wearings.
But we wanted to offer another version of the shirt using just water-based colors. This makes for a much softer feel overall, but results in a less-bright image and gives the shirt an almost 'vintage' look. Since this Variant version of the shirt wasn't reflective of the original design we promoted, we held off on offering it right away. We also decided to reduce the price of it to $18,85, since it didn't cost us as much to print.
This past weekend I got together with some friends and did a photoshoot, showcasing the Choke shirts. The images above are the new 'Variant' style of the shirt, which we're pricing at $18.85. Below, are the original shirts offered in December for $24.95. The design is stiffer, yet brighter on these shirts.
Both shirts are American Apparel 50/50 Polycotton style.
Please note that we're still sold out of some sizes in the $24.95 shirts, especially some key female sizes. Whereas, we have a much larger inventory in the new Variant shirts and all sizes listed are currently available.

Our Chuck Palahniuk Tshirts return with a vengeance in the form of this new Choke shirt, designed by Kevin Tong (@tragicsunshine). This is our fourth collaboration with Kevin and damn... did he hit this one out of the park! This is easily my favorite Tshirt from him yet. The design features Victor Mancini descending into the abyss of his own depravity. (see a close-up of it)
The shirts are American Apparel and are available in Mens and Womens in both Gray (Asphalt) and Blue (Heather Lake Blue). This all came together last minute, so unfortantely, at the time of my writing this, the actual shirts are still being printed. But if you want to place your order now, we can assure you that we will begin shipping shirts from Dec 11th on.
Important Shipping Info: We ship our shirts USPS Priority, so U.S. domestic orders typically arrive 1-3 days from the date they are shipped. International orders allow 7-10 days.
Important Sizing Info: American Apparel was sold out of a few sizes we normally order. Therefore XXL and XXXL are not available for the Gray shirt, and XXXL is not available for the Blue. Hopefully we can get these in on the next run.

'Choke' Poster By Kevin Tong Now Available
If you're familiar with how we unveil new Tshirts here at The Cult, this announcement will come as no surprise. Working with Kevin Tong over the past few years (and three previous Tshirts), we have a cross-promotion we do: Kevin Tong creates the design for our Tshirts, and then offers it as a poster from his own site.
Today, that poster goes on sale and begins shipping. But hurry! If you want to receive your poster in time for Christmas, tomorrow (December 14th) is the final shipping day.

Screen printed beauty is a four color poster (utilizing only three screens due to a split fountain blend)
Printed on 18 x 24 inch 100 lb Factory Green French Paper
