Summons Extract 1
Hello! I have decided to use my blog on here primarily to stick down some small extracts from my various novels, short stories and novella, as my normal blog is written through my website.
A small excerpt from my WIP novel to start:
The figure immediately stirred, slowly uncoiling itself like a blossoming flower. It had slender arms, long blue fingernails, and smooth skin. It was also a woman, semi-naked, save for topaz shorts and a top that crunched like footfalls on snow as she moved. “Hello?” she replied, in a sweet, innocent voice that made me want to weep. “Who is there?”
I was entranced by her luscious blue hair, cascading down her neck like a waterfall. Her eyes were large, staring, heavily-lashed, but as deep as wells – I wanted to dive into them, to swim in their serenity. She was a gorgeous creature, demure, totally alien to the place and things we had seen.
I felt myself blush...until I saw the rest of her face.
She had no mouth.
