Thursday Thoughts

Every author knows that you need help getting your manuscript ready for publication. Beta readers, editors, maybe reviewers. It takes work and time polishing your book to the best it can be. Even then it's probably not perfect when you release it, but at least you made the effort.

My support staff consists of four felines and a wonderful human editor. The editor is my niece and second daughter.

Tuesday Teaser

His words inflamed me and I shivered with need, leaning in to kiss him,
wondering if he’d let me after what I’d just done. I shouldn’t have worried,
because Vince seemed to be a very sexual beast. I worked my mouth over his lips
softly, teasingly, giving him just a brush of intimacy, until with a grunt of
impatience he crashed his mouth against mine and took what he wanted. He didn’t
hesitate

Monday Musings

I'm a firm believer that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes you just have to go around the corner to see it. So, please, if you're feeling down or considering something drastic, just wait. I know that things will get better. Look ahead and think about the things you may miss out in life.

Chapter 4

“Wake up, sleeping beauty.”

The voice seemed to be coming from a long way off, delving
deeply into Rachel’s unconscious and disrupting the hot dream she was having.
She moaned her annoyance and tried to burrow deeper into the blankets, too
tired to open her mouth and tell whomever it was to go away. Just as she
settled back into her

Back from vacation

A fantastic week! Flew out to California, spent two days touring Beverly Hills, Malibu, Hollywood, Paramount Studios, ate at the famous Duke’s Restaurant a couple of times. Crammed a lot in for two days. Saw Jane Fonda. Not a fan but cool non the less. Got to go into Dr. Phil’s studio. I watch him every day. Learned some cool tricks of the movie trade so now every time I watch something on TV

THE WOLF AND THE DOVE

By Kathleen E. Woodiwiss

Kathleen E. Woodiwiss has long been my favorite author. I began by reading The Wolf and the Dove, my all-time favorite book. The top cover is the version I read. At the time I thought it was racy, yet you had to use your imagination at what went on behind closed doors. There was no explicit language or sexual content, just a good romance in

Tuesday Teasers

I moved my hand, smirking at the alarm that flared in her
eyes when I cupped the side of her jaw. What had she been afraid of? That I was
going to hit her? I'd never hit a woman. Her skin was flawless and felt like
satin. I slowly ran my hand down her neck and chest, letting my fingers trail
the sloped peaks of her perfect tits. A whimper escaped her when I circled her
puckered nipple. I

TYPEWRITER VS COMPUTER

I got my first manual typewriter when I was thirteen. At seventeen I got my first electric one. I can't tell you how many stories I typed on those two machines as I was growing up. Big stories, too, like 500 pages! Some are so old and faded I can't make out the lettering but I refuse to toss them.

Anyway, I can't recall a time when I didn't want to be a

Welcome to chapter 3 of Up in Flames!

Chapter 3

The deep seriousness of his tone sent a little quiver down
Rachel’s spine. She didn’t think about saying no. His eyes were darkening, and
the raw desire contorting his features mesmerized her. Still, something naughty
inside wanted to push James’ buttons. She wanted to see how far she could tease
him before he lost control. He

SWEET SAVAGE LOVE

by Rosemary Rogers

A friend gave me a book to read when I was around twenty. You could say it was my first romance, and oh what a story to start out with! If you've never read Rosemary Rogers she was ahead of her time with regard to sexually explicit language and content. No guessing what was going on behind closed doors here, and I was hooked from that day forward. I
