Family has to come first. Family is everything. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices to take care of an elder, or someone who's ill. Especially if that someone took care of you, raised you, and loved you unconditionally. Like a parent. You do it out of love, and because it's the right thing to do. You don't want to have any regrets when they're gone.

Chapter Four
An early riser by
nature, Lilly carefully extracted herself from Blake’s long legs and slipped
from the bed. Romeo was lying at the foot and opened one eye to give her a
look. She patted his head on her way to the closet for a robe. Lilly had to
wonder what his sleeping at the foot of the bed meant. Was this his way of
saying he accepted Blake? She went to the

Thursday Thoughts
I just blogged about my dislike of cliffhangers not too long ago, ugh! I've been doing a lot of reading lately and just finished a trilogy that was really good. Outlaw Justice Trilogy by E.M.Gayle. The book covers are hot! Warning though, book one and two have cliffhangers, which I usually avoid like the plague. There was no warning and just because the listing said book one and two that doesn't

It's that time again! Here's a little teaser for Kiss Me! A free full-length contemporary romance available here.
Uncontrollable hunger forced her hand down his torso until
she reached the top of his slacks. Taking a shaky breath, she hesitated, until
passion overruled common sense and with a muffled cry of surrender she let her

The good things in life are not always the big things, but the things that mean the most. I fell asleep on the sofa the other day and woke to find that someone had covered me up with a blanket, and turned off the TV. It was eerily quiet considering my grandchildren were home with me. Alivia had already been in her room when I'd drifted off, on her phone as usual. Found out my grandson, Mason had

Chapter Three
Lilly was on the
verge of falling asleep when she heard a loud pounding at the front door, then
the muffled sound of someone yelling. Her eyes shot to the alarm clock on the
dresser. The clock’s illuminated face revealed it was almost twelve. Who in the
world would be calling at this hour? She pulled back the covers to go see.

Thursday Thoughts
Cliffhangers suck! Some authors are kind enough to mention if there's a cliffhanger at the end of their story. Others trick you into reading their book and bam! The story just ends leaving you pissed because it's a cliffhanger and now you have to wait for the next book to come out so you can find out what happens. Ever forget to pick up that next book? I have! Not all series end in a cliffhanger,
