A friend sent this recipe to me and I wanted to share it....
A friend sent this recipe to me and I wanted to share it. Sounds easy to make and delish!
Ingredients:
1 lb large... strawberries
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3-4 Tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 - 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions:
1. Rinse strawberries and cut around the top of the strawberry. Remove the top and clean out with a paring knife, if necessary (some of them are hollow already. Prep all of the strawberries and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add cream cheese mix to a piping bag or Ziploc with the corner snipped off. Fill the strawberries with cheesecake mixture.
3. Once strawberries are filled, sprinkle or dip the tops with graham cracker crumbs. If not serving immediately, refrigerate until serving.

I just thought this was a really cool picture. How nice would it be to wake in the morning and have this beautiful creature checking you out? Talk about close proximity! I'm thinking that this is a resort somewhere, probably Africa. I know it's not in the US because Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort is the only place in North America with giraffes on site. And I used to work there!

I found my European vacation pictures! You don't know how happy that makes me, because I thought I lost them. I took 400 and downloaded them to a jump drive years ago after we went. I want to do photo albums for my daughter and niece for Christmas this year, since we were gonna do scrap books way back then, and never did. I think they will be pleased with the albums considering if they want to look at the pictures now they have to sit at the computer. That's the only problem with digital cameras. I know it's early but I like to plan ahead:)

On one of the morning shows this week they were discussing that more and more men are beginning to wear makeup, and that it's becoming increasingly popular. I didn't even know there's makeup on the market for men, such as concealer and base. The discussion about whether women would date men wearing makeup came up and my first thought was, not me. I would find it a huge turn off. To each his own, though.
