It was a long day!

I've spent the last few hours playing catch up with my usual Saturday work. I'd put aside today for my granddaughter, Alivia. We left at 9:30 to go get mani-pedis, then stopped at Publix for movie snacks. We went to see Maleficent. What a good movie! I had my doubts because I'm not an Angelina Jolie fan, and the first ten minutes was uninteresting, to me anyway. That quickly changed and the rest of the movie told the story of why Maleficent was the way she was. She hadn't always been evil.

It really was a sad movie, about betrayed love and revenge, and my granddaughter and I teared up toward the end. There was a nice twist I won't go into. Don't want to spoil it for anyone. We ended our day at Olive Garden and then finally back home.

Not exclusively? “I saw the kiss you planted on him earlier.”

She shrugged. “Maybe we just like kissing.”

Her carefree remark made me angry. “What else do you like doing together?”

“What do you think, RJ? Ray’s your best friend, you should know.”

Yeah, I knew. It wouldn’t be the first time one of my ex-girlfriends had moved on to Ray. Had a busy Memorial Day weekend, what about you? Did some things for myself, went clothes shopping with the September cruise in mind, and got a hair cut. Then went to the movies (review below) and dinner with a friend. Finished the edits to Party Time, my 6/1 release, and even did a little reading.

Have about 2 pages left to go and Lovers will be done, then back to Devil's Wrath MC!

I just got home from seeing this movie and it was great! I love Adam Sandler anyway. There was a good balance of humor and romance. I wasn't a Drew Barrymore fan but after seeing this, and how far she's come from some of her earlier movies, she's won me over. So if you want to spend a couple of hours of laughing your butt off go see this movie!
