Planet Wacko Rewakes? - Godzille's Aids Fascism

In November, Helen Zille stated that an HIV-positive person who knowingly has unprotected consensual sex with an HIV-negative person, resulting in infection, is guilty of attempted murder.  She has also been under fire from a number of organisations including TAC for her campaign offering cash prizes to people who take an HIV/Aids test during the 16 Days of Activisim Against Women and Child Abuse. In response she has  branded her critics as "Aids Gestapo". Zille  wrote in her weekly newsletter that activists were selective in the rights they choosing to promote, hunting "in a vicious pack" to shut down any criticism.

Do Zille's disciples agree with her HIV/Aids views?
Helen Zille’s comparison of a sector of Aids experts to the Gestapo has caused little bit of an outcry in some circles. But she’s not the first public figure to apply a Nazi analogy to a group of which she disapproves.

Durban COP-OUT 17 While the earth burns! Developed world vs Developing World

This week, delegates from nearly 200 countries descended on Durban, South Africa, for COP17, the latest round of global climate talks. Hundreds of African activists – farmers, environmental scientists, youth leaders – have travelled by bus from Burundi to South Africa in a Caravan of Hope to raise awareness of the impact climate change is already having on the continent. But what will all the talking achieve?

US is holding on to its argument that it will not agree to any legally binding agreement at the climate change talks in Durban yesterday, unless that agreement involves all greenhouse gas emitters
