Two billion followed the royal wedding on TV. Thousands watched it with fascination from the streets of London. A public holiday was declared for the occasion. A campsite on Clapham common was set up to be a home away from home for three nights for revellers on a budget. Street parties followed the Westminster Abbey ceremony. There was no doubt that much of the British public wanted to celebrate royal wedding day.
Now the festivities are over. Zapiro's cartoon suggests they need to get back to reality and face the day to day problems.
