Previous questions: #1
What is your primary setting like, geographically and culturally? If it’s an original world, is it based on any real life cultures or places?
My WIP #TIGER is placed in modern day America, primarily at West Virginia University, a real school and a real town called Morgantown.
(Bonus questions: What is your MC’s favorite season and/or place within this setting?)
Chloe likes to sit in the courtyard of the university because watching all the other students walking around makes her feel apart of something.

Reblog if you think fanfiction is a legitimate form of creative writing.
if it weren’t for fanfic, i wouldn’t have gotten good enough to write my own book
A Fortnight of Questions. #1
Got this from @brynwrites, love these questions, thanks for posting!

What is/are the most defining parts of your main character(s) appearance(s)?
(Bonus points if there’s a story behind them or they have direct connection to the character’s personality.)
Chloe, the main character of my WIP #TIGER, tends to blend in. She is gangly with wavy-if-not-occasionally-mousy brown hair and angular, sharp features. It’s not so much her appearance that makes her seem small, but her body language.

Should I try my hand at writing some fanfiction (probably for Riverdale) to unwind in between uni and freelance?
Yes or no?
I wrote for years and years before trying my hand at fanfic. Personally, I find it to be a nice writing exercise. You can take it as casually or as seriously as you want, and either way you’re practicing writing. I think writing in the voice of characters someone else created helped me think about dialogue in a different way than I did before writing facfic.
Dialogue Prompt
“If you loved me, you’d let me go.”
“I can’t. I can’t let you die with the rest of them.”
