“It is easier to conquer than to rule. With a long enough lever, the world could be moved with a single finger; to sustain it needs the shoulders of Hercules.”

Yes! I so often have dreams I’m not even in and I dont know anyone else who has ever had a dream without them in it. But I sometimes have dreams where there are memories included with places and people that were made up by the dream! It can be a whirlwind when you wake up

A Fortnight of Questions. #3

I got this from @brynwrites

Rules: Answer this question (and any previous questions you wish), and then tag as many or as few people are you feel like, between zero and infinity.

Previous questions: #1, #2

How does your main character feel about their family and/or the concept of family? What impact has their family had on them? (Include found family if appropriate ^^)

The main character of #TIGER, Chloe, is mostly neutral toward her family. She doesn’t have strong feelings for them one way or another, except slight resentment that she feels she’ll never be good enough or quite fit in with them, a feeling that comes completely from Chloe’s own insecurities rather than by any actions of her family. The only person who she does feel a connection with is her Uncle David, a cooky doctor who is as much of a black sheep as she feels she is, and yet very successful and holey comfortable being himself, something Chloe strives to do.

Tagging everyone who reads this!

What is your primary setting like, geographically and culturally? If it’s an original world, is it based on any real life cultures or places?

My WIP #TIGER is placed in modern day America, primarily at West Virginia University, a real school and a real town called Morgantown.

(Bonus questions: What is your MC’s favorite season and/or place within this setting?)

Chloe likes to sit in the courtyard of the university because watching all the other students walking around makes her feel apart of something.

Tagging anyone who reads this!

“The fairy tale gets a little darker after midnight.
It’s not about fighting villains anymore. It’s about the hero trying not to destroy themselves.”
