My job abuses books...
Let me tell y'all. My job is so horrible. When they don’t sell books, they CUP OFF THE COVERS AND TOSS THEM AWAY!!!! This place is so horrid! Instead of donating the books, they rather damage them and toss them!
That is really awful. Could you like, put the word out quietly and let dumpster divers get their hands on them? Then at least someone is getting them.
I used to work at B&N and this is what they do for many of the books that don’t sell… They actually get sent away to be fully destroyed so they aren’t just in the dumpster.
