I dare you to write a story revolving around three archetypes: the creator, the lover, and the sage
Be creative! The twelve archetypes can be found here. Thing about how these three archetypes would get along. How would a story with these three progress? Which archetypes are the protagonists and/or antagonists? When characters are your starting point, the easiest way to progress to a plot is to use a problem/solution outline. What problems would these three have and how would each of them attempt (and of course fail if you want tension) in order to solve it?
Think outside the box!
If you’re brave enough to write, don’t forget to tag I dare you to write and indicate whether or not concrit is welcome.

How do i make my writing longer? The thing i'm writing currently is only 50,000 words and it's almost done. From what I've read, it would be classified as YA, and most YA is at least 70,000-80,000 words. How would I prolong it without just adding a bunch o
First things first. Word counts aren’t written in stone. Many editors and agents would rather read a solid story that weighs in at 57,000 words than a weak story of 73,000 words.
Now, if you need to round out a word count, there is an ‘easy’ fix and it’s something you should do anyway, too. Read through your story and look for where you’re telling instead of showing. That’s a common problem and it could help tilt the scales in your favor.
However, that alone won’t get you the numbers you need. Unfortunately, adding 20-30k words without filler usually involves big changes to your plot. Proceed with caution if you go this route.
My best advice to you would be to focus on telling the best story you can, word counts be damned. Some stories work well as novellas, and fail terribly as novels. Don’t force your story to be something it’s not.

“Sometimes the outcome is worth all the pain. And sometimes it isn’t- and for those times, you know what I say?” “….Shoot him in the thigh and never look back?” “Exactly.”

October
and death is its own kind of
awakening and
the russet red-brown birds
pick through the
dying grass and the sky is choked
in low leaden clouds-
here we are wreathed in the
birthing cold
here we are pallid in the waning time
and here we are
veined in the brilliant red made
from the miracle of
every paper-thin
death.
