I don't have many books on my bookshelf, but the ones I keep are absolutely essential. Each of these books has taught me about being a better writer and reader.

There's never a bad time of the year to read H.P. Lovecraft but October is particularly rewarding. My favorite story from this collection: "The Horror at Red Hook."

P.S. I found this book at a used book store right next to the Morris County jail. That place is a treasure trove of literary gems!
