fLiP iT fRiDaY: James @ Book Chic
Today on fLiP iT fRiDaY, we’re chatting with James from Book Chic, aka @BookChicClub on Twitter.
Well, now that I have a steady(ish) job, here’s how a weekday goes: I wake up at around 6am after about 6 hours of sleep, turn on my computer, check email and the like, get dressed, go make my lunch that I bring to work (although sometimes I go to McDonald’s for lunch instead, which is fun too), and then head on out. I arrive to work surprisingly on time now (when

Dance Like Nobody’s Watching?
Sometimes you see something so cool that you just have to stop and thank the universe that you’re even freaking alive.
And then you hide behind a lamp post on Elmwood Ave. in Buffalo just so you can video-stalk the most adorable kid in the universe without getting dirty looks from her dad. Or the police. But I just had to share this with you! Not the best quality video but it zooms in after a minute or so. Check it out.
I really admire her. I hope she stays like that forever.

Today on fLiP iT fRiDaY, we’re chatting with Steph Bowe from Hey, Teenager of the Year, aka @stephbowe on Twitter.
Well, the aliens bring me back around five in the morning, and I’ll sleep for a bit before I get up. I usually go for a run to the lake, do some schoolwork (I’m finishing high school by correspondence), chuck some washing in the machine. Then it’s spending way too long working on my blog, Twitter, emails and Myspace. I might have a photography or

Happy Birthday, Twenty Boy Summer!
Today is the official release date for Twenty Boy Summer. Though it snuck into many bookstores early, today is still a special, exciting, amazing day, as it marks the fruition of a dream come true. To celebrate, I’m taking a trip down memory lane with some of the retro posts that highlight my years-in-the-making TBS publication journey.

J.E. MacLeod’s Character Debut Party
Okay, so everyone should go out and read this book, because it truly is something everyone will love. And when I say everyone, I mean boys, too. WAITING TO SCORE has an intense, thoughtful, multi-layered (and *cough* hot *cough*) main character (that’d be Zack Chase) who deals with competition and school and girls and family strife in a realistically flawed way that transcends sports books or romance books or even YA books to become just a really good story.
