Darren is a dark epic fantasy author from the southwest of Ireland. While writing in his spare time, he has worked numerous jobs ranging from IT manager to housekeeping supervisor, though writing novels has been the only job that's mattered.
When not writing fantasy, he’s reading, dabbling in digital art, or designing new maps to go with all the stories he makes up.
Both a husband and a cat dad, he is obsessed with all things fantasy. If it's got magic, he's all over it.
He enjoys playing snooker and chess but mostly loves diving into a good book when he isn't slaving at the writing desk, or entertaining the cat's every whim.
