New Website Design by C.H. Admirand
A HUGE thank you to Joanna Shupe for giving a fantastic workshop and hands-on during the NJRW Meeting yesterday.
I learned so many details that I applied to my current website (at wordpress) and that I will need to apply to my blog. As I told her yesterday, she is AWESOME!!!
BUT, the other cool thing I learned yesterday was from Michele Mannon who gave me the hot tip to try wix.com for website building.
I'll admit it was pretty intense around here last night when I got home. I logged on to my computer as soon as I fed the puppy and made coffee, then updated all the changes, I'd learned about from Joanne for my current website. But then started thinking about giving the wix thing a try. :)
OK...so I stayed glued to the computer working from 5pm until 11:30 last night...then got up again at 5:30 [our youngest son is taking day 3 of his motorcycle safety course--yep totally my idea made his older brother take the course too.] :)
Where was I? Oh yeah, up at 5:30 logged on again and finally, FINALLY, finished about a half hour ago. It took awhile to figure out the domain stuff, pointing subdomain, and DNS stuff. NOT my thing. LOL!
Then I just had to post it to FB and twitter and then blog about it, because I couldn't have done it without my FAB author friends at NJRW . :)
WOW...I love the template and background I found to use for my website :) It's streamlined, efficient, and has all of the info readers are looking for.
Soooo from now on, I'll have pics and recipes posted to my blog and might have two blogs running for the next little while until I can decide which I want to use for what. Decisions....decisions! LOL!
Here's the temporary link until the domain servers are finished updating the new subdomain stuffCHA's new website!
Again I could not have accomplished any of this without the help of my fellow NJRW authors. Sooo Joanna and Michele THANK YOU...you ladies TOTALLY ROCK.
To catch up with what Joanna [Golden Heart Finalist for DRAWN TO THE EARL] and Michele [NO HOLDS BARRED coming from Carina Press in the fall] are up to, check out their blog The Violet Femmes
Happy Reading! C.H.

The Marshal's Destiny - Revised & Re-Released by C.H. Admirand
I'm so excited to have finally received the rights back to my first book! For various reasons, it took 3 years longer than it should have--that being said, once I received them back, I was ready to roll...or so I thought.
The file I'd been saving from computer to computer (for the last 13 years) was a "galley" file. A galley that I'd made from one of the early versions of the story--not the final version of the story that I'd sent to Avalon.
OMG! What to do? Did I mention that my Purcell Ancestors' Family Motto is: Aut Vincam, Aut Periam? Translation: I will either conquer or perish! Soooo I did what any insane person would do-- grabbed my copy of the book and started typing it into a word file!
My darling hubby was so impressed by the fact that I was moving full steam ahead--and d*mn the torpedos being fired my way--that he typed a whole chapter for me! My hero *sigh*
THE MARSHAL'S DESTINY is available in e-book for just $0.99! TMD e-bk version and the paperback will be $4.99 at CreateSpace as soon as I double-check the print proof I received yesterday -- I know, such a great bargain, right? :)
P and N Graphics, LLC designed the cover for me--and the logo. Aren't they fabulous?
BUT even better? P and N Graphics is designing the covers for the entire series - 4 books in all! I'm supposed to be writing my Frontier Romance, but am now distracted by the cover P and N just sent for book 2 - THE RANCHER'S HEART....which is next up to edit and revise for re-release :) The books were originally released in hardcover and I'm thrilled to have them released in e-book and paperback format!
Here's the tentative Release Schedule for my Irish Western Series:April ~ THE MARSHAL'S DESTINY, Book 1June ~ THE RANCHER'S HEART, Book 2August ~ PEARL'S REDEMPTION, Book 3October ~ A GIFT FROM HOME, Book 4
So wonderful to have such a dilemma, isn't it?
Sooo, I'm off to pick up Pansies for our yard--what is Spring without Pansies on your front steps to smile at you--when our daughter was little she used to call them face flowers. So here's a pic from last year until I come home with this year's Pansies :)
Happy Reading!

Changing things up by C.H. Admirand
I used to go crazy with Spring cleaning, but over the years have shifted the focus of the cleaning to be writing-related.
Soooo to start off the Spring cleaning, I've given my blog a new fresh look and will be changing things up on my website too.
It has been giving me a headache looking at how much info I have crammed onto the home page! So I've decided to slowly but surely change this over to a new location and look. Fingers crossed it will be just as informative, but calmer...like my life. LOL! Yep that was definitely a joke.
I'll be trying out different photos from our gardens for the header for my blog. Maybe I'll find one I like as much as the old one :) But that garden is gone because we put the stream and pond there...and the tree behind the playhouse came down during Sandy, so maybe I'll put that garden pic up again. We'll see.
Not sure which day, but I think tomorrow is my day to be at Amanda McIntyre's blog http://www.amandamcintyresbooks.com/

She's hosting a bunch of authors celebrating why LADIES LOVE COUNTRY BOYS! I'm giving away a signed copy of the first book in my small town series; A WEDDING IN APPLE GROVE...so come on over!

Diving in to the NJRW PAN Liaison Job by C.H. Admirand
There are times in life when we need to give back. It has been awhile since I was active in my home chapter and although there were many reasons why I couldn't be, I definitely started to feel the overwhelming need to get involved again.
So, when I was asked if I'd consider being the PAN Liaison again, I said sure. OMGoodness! I guess I forgot how busy I'd be. So far I have lined up three speakers for the Feb, March, and May PAN Meetings, prepared my first report for the Board Meeting this past Saturday, transcribed my notes from the meeting, posted on the published author loop so many times in the last two days they will be positively SICK of me. LOL!
But, there is so much to do and so many other projects that I do need to get started on before I run out of time. Time is so elusive some days.
I need inspiration to figure out what other promo I'll be bringing to Barbara Vey's Luncheon in April and RT in May...I have ordered books that I'll be giving away, but it's the other promo that has me stumped. Hopefully a bolt out of the blue will strike and I'll have an idea.
BUT...this is my brain post-deadline + 3 days. LOL!
I'm sooo excited about the next two books in my series for Sourcebooks...and am lovin' the covers and can't wait for Cait and Jack (aka Doc Gannon) and then Grace and Patrick to find their way to their HEA I can't help being a romantic.
OH...and did I remember to tell you about A WEDDING IN APPLE GROVE coming out in Large Print?!? I can actually read the book without my glasses...woo hoo! Here's the link...but no cover yet...http://tinyurl.com/bd9rrtv
Sooooo until I have more news...
