Irish Western Series Bk 3 PEARL'S REDEMPTION is LIVE by C.H. Admirand

I wasn't sure this was actually going to happen, because for some reason Pearl and Davidson decided that their story was too hot and they no longer wanted to share as much of their intimate moments.
At first, I thought, OK...but then what, wouldn't it change the story? And won't that cheat readers who remember Pearl's story and loved it?
Well...yes, it changes the story slightly, but no, I don't think it cheats readers who remember Pearl. I think I've shown what Pearl and Davidson wanted...a deeper connection to their characters, with a lighter touch on their love scenes.
Sold into marriage for a jug of whiskey, Pearl was forced by her first husband before she had a chance to learn to love him. She doesn't know the first thing about passion or the meaning of the word love...ahhh, but then Davidson Smythe of Boston walks up to her front porch claiming to have purchased her ranch. But she would never agree to sell her ranch.
She warns him not to take another step.
He doesn't believe she'll really use that rifle on him.
And that's when the fun begins...she shoots the hat right off his head!

The first time the book was released through Five Star Expressions for the Library Market, I had a caricature created of the image of his hat being shot off his head LOVE it...by artist, Robert Quill...
I loved the way he drew the bit of Davidson's Stetson and the bullet :)

Soooo...dear reader, I'm taking a chance that those of you who have read Pearl in it's original version will give her a chance in this updated one.
PEARL'S REDEMPTION is officially available in e-book as of 2:15am and will be available in trade paperback mid-July.
But I'm hoping to have John Reilly and Jessi Fahy's story edited by then and ready to upload. :)

Until then, happy reading!

Medieval Trilogy - Bundled for Kindle! June 27th Release Date by C.H. Admirand

Every once in a while an idea hits you and you just have to run with it. Well...a week or so ago, I had this idea...why not ask my publisher to release my Medieval Trilogy as a bundle?!?
And guess what? DCL Publications was on board with the idea and from then on it was full steam ahead! I had one stipulation, that I'd want the price to be super special...sooooo for the extra special price of $4.99, you can get your hands on THE LORD OF MEREWOOD KEEP/THE SAXON BRIDE/and A SCOT'S HONOR!
DCL's Annie Marshall created the print book covers and this new one for the bundle. Since Beautiful Billy Freda posed for 2 of the 3 original e-book covers in 2007, and all 3 of the print books covers released in 2010 and 2011, she designed a special cover for the bundle.  Isn't it awesome?!?
Here are the original covers created by Izzy. The books were recently released in Kindle format for the first time last week. So this is HUGE for me :)

And the print covers created by Annie

Happy Reading!!!

The Rancher's Heart in Trade Paperback by C.H. Admirand

So exciting because now that I have the rights back, I'm able to offer my Irish Western Series in two new formats: e-book and trade paperback.

So here's the link to order THE RANCHER'S HEART in trade paperback at CreateSpace

It's been such a wild ride with first THE MARSHAL'S DESTINY and now THE RANCHER'S HEART shooting to the top 20 and then the top 10 at Amazon in Western Romances...and staying there! I'm honored that readers are loving these books as much as I do. :) TRH is still holding steady at #7 :)

Next up...PEARL'S REDEMPTION, book 3 in the series. Here's a sneak peak at the cover that P and N Graphics designed for me. Isn't it gorgeous???

I hope to have Pearl ready to upload by next week. Fingers crossed :)

I cannot wait to see the cover design for book 4, A GIFT FROM HOME.

Happy Reading!

OMG Seven Days and Counting til ONE DAY IN APPLE GROVE releases! by C.H. Admirand

I just turned in all but two of the guest blogs and interviews for the Virtual Tour for ONE DAY IN APPLE GROVE.
I cannot believe that it releases in just 7 days!!! Where did the time go? Wasn't I just in Kansas City attending RT? No...wait--it was Barbara Vey's Reader Lunch in Wisconsin? LOL!
Well, time does fly by and I've been really busy writing, releasing some of my backlist, and catching up by finishing those guest blogs. So much fun to write...
Hopefully tomorrow, I'll receive author copies for ONE DAY IN APPLE GROVE--good thing, because I'm giving most of them away:)
I should also be receiving new promo that I've designed at my favorite place VistaPrint to give away at BEA and RWA...next up promo-wise...goodies for Authors After Dark!
Here's my schedule I've even noted which books I'm giving away what dates. Cool, right?
Back to the grindstone--I have characters arguing in my head, so I'd better get back to writing their stories :)
Happy Reading! C.H.

Catching up with blogs for my June Virtual Tour and enjoying the flowers by C.H. Admirand

OK...so maybe I didn't write all of the blogs that I have to, but I did take a chunk out of them today. Yesterday was filled with good intentions, but I just happened to notice that one of my favorite mini-series was playing on the Western Channel--a favorite of mine--North and South as a marathon. So yes, my good intentions kept me company while I watched. But the best part is that they'll be showing North and South II soon. Yep--I'll be there watching that one too.
I tried something different today and created a small video that I wanted to upload to my blog to share with readers, but it didn't work. Soooo, I guess I'll have to scratch that idea.
Anyway...I did take pics of the gardens the other day, so I'll have to use those. Here's our arbor covered with wisteria before the last day and a half of rain...it's really lush now! It is also the resting place for bears--apparently the lure isn't the wisteria itself, but the birdseed and suet we hang from the arbor for the birds. Not a fan of black bears hanging out on the arbor, but hey we do live in the wilds of northern NJ. LOL!

This is a view looking at the stream and pond with the gardens--with woodchips! Our oldest son surprised me when we got back from RT he'd put woodchips in the back gardens and installed pretty little solar lights. What a lovely addition to our gardens.
These are the azaleas out front...they're a bit droopy now after the rain, glad I got the pics before the rain!

This is a close-up of the Geisha Azalea - the same plant has some pink and white blooms, white blooms with a touch of pink, and as you can see bright pink blooms!

Here's a shot of the wisteria with the poppies down below it.

And the front herb garden with the "Grandchildren Crossing" sign from my mom's yard.

So back to writing blogs for the June Virtual Tour for book 2 in my contemporary small town series; ONE DAY IN APPLE GROVE. I'm running a contest all month long at Fresh Fiction -- the prize? 3 signed sets of the first two books in the series. So be sure to stop by and enter! The link won't go live until June 1st, but at least you'll know where to go when it does :)
Happy Reading! C.H.

Trade Paperback Price Change for THE MARSHAL'S DESTINY by C.H. Admirand

Since I'm ahead of schedule with re-releasing my Irish Western Series, I've decided to go along with the suggested pricing at Amazon so that I can have the trade paperback version of THE MARSHAL'S DESTINY available at Amazon as well as CreateSpace.

For my FABULOUS Readers and fans of the Historical Western genre, I now have the first two books in my Irish Western Series available in Kindle format for just $0.99! A super deal :)

While I wrestled with raising the trade paperback price up from $4.99 to $6.99, I had no choice if I wanted to make it available to purchase via Amazon. Soooo...hence the price change...believe it or not I wasn't charging enough to cover the cost of production. I know...call me crazy...which is why I am keeping the e-book price at $0.99 :)

I will be sending the rest of info to those talented folks over at P and N Graphics so that they can created the full cover and I will be able to have book 2 THE RANCHER'S HEART available in trade paperback too :)

Happy Reading!!!

THE RANCHER'S HEART, Bk 2 Irish Western Series Available Today by C.H. Admirand

I have always loved the characters that still live and breathe in my Irish Western Series. I have been dabbling in the self-publishing industry by re-releasing these titles now that I have most of the rights back.
As of right now, I'm waiting for the rights to the 4th book in the series...should have them back in another month or so.
BUT until then...here is the second installment in my series...James Ryan's story. I'll admit to falling in love with the tall, black-haired Irishman...he reminds me of someone else that I love dearly! My darling, you know who you are...
Here is the link to TRH at Amazon and the series on my website, which is a work-in-progress.  :)
A HUGE THANK YOU!!! goes out to P and N Graphics, LLC for their fabulous cover design....and the Logo for my Irish Westerns...LOVE IT!!!
I cannot wait to see the next two covers :)

Happy Reading!!! C.H.

The Marshal's Destiny still holding strong in Amazon Kindle's top 10 Romance Westerns by C.H. Admirand

This has been a wild ride for me. First for getting the rights back to my Irish Western Series, finding the perfect cover designers - P and N Graphics, LLC, and then freshening up the stories. The more one writes, the better one's writing becomes. :)
BUT, the coolest part about releasing the first book in my series for the first time in e-book and trade paperback is that it hit the top ten at Amazon on April 24th and is holding it's own. The highest THE MARSHAL'S DESTINY reached was #6, and so far today it's at #9. I can't complain. :)  Today when I checked to see how TMD was doing (a bad habit I've developed since late April ) I noticed that Amazon has grouped my Irish Western Series, so it is easy to find. At the moment they have the original hardcovers up there, but as I release them in e-book and trade paperback, I'm sure the new covers will catch up.
Soooo a big thank you to Amazon for noticing that I've been in the top ten for three weeks and helping readers find my Irish Westerns :)
Romance Readers are dedicated and wonderful! Without them, where would I be?

I'm in the process of editing the second book in my historical western romance series, THE RANCHER'S HEART - a final cover is being finalized even as we speak. :)
Watch for the release of book 2, mid-May or by the end of the month.

Until then...

Happy Reading!
C.H.
