Radio Archives’ Nightbeat: Night Stories is available in TWO formats! Already known for producing quality Ebooks and Audiobooks of classic Pulp tales, Radio Archives has just released its first collection of new tales based on an Old Time Radio Program!

In 1950, NBC began broadcasting Nightbeat, considered one of the finest shows of its time. The show featured Randy Stone, a reporter who covered the night beat for the Chicago Star with a unique blend of wit, compassion and toughness.

GOOGOLED!

Interior pages.I was forwarded a nice review of I Am Googol: The Great Invasion #1 by Tori L. Ridgewood today. You can read it here. I Am Googol: The Great Invasion #1 is a graphic novel I wrote a few years back. I didn't realize it was still available, but am glad to see it is available both in print and ebook formats. I'll take having one of my stories compared to a Gene Roddenberry story any day of the week.

Thanks, Tori.

Bobby
Interior page.
About I Am Googol: The Great Invasion #1:

Their arrival was heralded as a new beginning for the human race. Humans were no longer alone in the cosmos. Instead, they were suddenly thrust into an arena much larger than they were ready to deal with. In an age of technological advancement, Toughware and the wiki implants were the culmination of the first successful blending of human and alien technology. Suddenly, anyone with a wiki implant could ride the data streams.

Hackers became celebrities as the neural landscape became the world's playground. And for a special few, a startling side effect was discovered.
Kindle coverFearing the worst, the Lambda Initiative was created to police wiki infractions and to protect the fabled Lambda Time Travel Restrictions. Anyone, human or alien, attempting to bypass the Lambda Protocols was subject to prosecution under this new law.

To enforce this law, the G-Men were created. Culled from specialists with military and law enforcement experience, the G-Men sought out Lambda Protocol violators with swift and violent response. With wiki crimes on the rise and a growing anti-alien movement gaining strength, something had to be done. The government needed a solution, but they weren't sure what to do. And then they discovered a teenage girl living in Brazil with a special affinity for traversing and molding the data stream.

They had discovered the first Googol.

AND SO ENDS ANOTHER THRILLING ADVENTURE...

A few items of note...

I had a good writing day. A few thousand words, finished up a story (can't say which one yet), and worked on plots for three other stories already on my schedule. It is such a feeling of relief when you reach that part of the story where you type "The End." It's like a weight lifting off your shoulders. Then you move on to the next project because deadlines never stop. Looks like October is going to be another busy one.

If you're in the Metro Atlanta area, please join me at FoxTale Book Shoppe tomorrow night at 6:30 for the Emerging Author Book Signing Event. It'll be fun.

WARNER ROBBINS COMIC CON WRAP UP (with photos)

My table at the con.
I attended the Warner Robbins Comic Con on Sunday, September 29th. It was my first time visiting Warner Robbins, but not my first time at one of the Atlanta South Comic Cons run by Mario Russo so I knew it would be a fun event.

I rode down and shared space with my Strong Will co-writer and ESO podcast co-host, Mike Gordon, which made the three hour drive easier. The gorgeous weather was also great for traveling. Once we arrived, set up, then geeked out over the Batmobile, the show opened to a rather large crowd of comic fans. There were two rooms and both were packed all day. There were several great costumes on hand for the costume contest, which was a lot of fun. I was especially happy to see so many kids on hand who love comic book characters. That is wonderful.

Of course, a big part of attending a convention is being able to catch up with talented friends who are also at the con. It is always great chatting with cool people like Michael Gordon, Chris Hamer, Jason Flowers, Joe Pruett, June Brigman, Roy Richardson, Mark Wright, Lisa Wright, J.R. Mounts, Christopher Collins, and more.

I sold a few books and had a nice, fun day in the company of friends, fans, and creative people, which is always a great way to spend a day. It was a long day and I was completely exhausted by the time I got home (left at 6:30 a.m. and home at 9:30 p.m.), but I had a blast. Looking forward to returning to Warner Robbins next year.

You can learn more about the various Atlanta South Comic Conventions here and here.

Here are a few photos from the event.

From Bobby Nash: All Pulp Contributor:

I have been a proud member of the All Pulp family, not to mention one of the Spectacled Seven that got this thing started) since the site began way back when. I have had a lot of fun working with the All Pulp gang and have made some new friends and discovered many new books to read and movies to watch. All Pulp joining Comicmix will open the site up to a wider audience and I'm excited to see where things go from here.

That said, however, I will not be moving on with All Pulp. With my writing schedule packed full and deadlines looming, I felt that this would be a good time for me to take a step back and focus my efforts on writing, as I'm sure my publishers will appreciate. Who can say what the future will bring, but I plan to stop by the new All Pulp site regularly to check up on the latest pulp news.

I'll see you there.

Bobby
