BOBBY TALKS MAN OF STEEL WITH REVNEWS - FANS OF STEEL - PART 1

RevNews: Fans of Steel - Superman has a new movie out! Much like every other big nerd movie this year, geeks are having a huge kerfuffle about it.

Together, in the first part of this episode, they will discuss what worked in Man of Steel; how it separates itself from the Donner movies; the coolness of Jedi-El; how Lois Lane is responsible for the destruction of Metropolis; Faora-Ul: Fully Clothed Badass; Superman: The InfoDump; Kryptioan facial & chest hair and more!

Our theme music this episode is "20 Minutes of Oxygen" by Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, courtesy of Divine Industries.

ANOTHER DAY AT THE KEYBOARD...

This happens to writers a lot. Weird, huh? Not Actual CoverWell, my friends, it's been another long day behind the keyboard, but it was also another day where many words were written, a fact for which I am extremely grateful. There's nothing like getting into the zone, especially when you're working on a deadline.

I added a bit more to my Fight Card novel, Barefoot Bones, sent a couple of short pieces for an as yet undisclosed project to the editor. I also did some writer-related work, updated the earth Station One and All Pulp websites, and participated in a fun podcast interview that should go live next week. All in all, I'd say today was a good, busy day.

Still available as paperback and ebookNow, I think a little TV then try to get in bed before 4 a.m. I could use some sleep because I'm back at it tomorrow. I'm not complaining, mind you. I love that work is coming my way. With my current crop of projects and deadlines there are no days off for me until I head to Dragon*Con on August 29th (not that I really get much rest at D*C). After that, I get a day to recooperate before heading to Alabama to film Fat Chance. Maybe a vacation is in order after that.  :)

Sweet dreams.

Bobby

AND WE'RE WRITING...

Sadly, this kind of question is
asked often, sometimes by me.Today was a pretty good writing day. I came up a little shy of the daily writing goal I'd set for myself, but not by much so it's all good. I'll hopefully make the difference up tomorrow. I also spent some time working on the websites (this one and http://BEN-Books.blogspot.com), something I've been neglecting. I added some "Buy Now" buttons on the novels so readers can order autographed books directly from me. We'll see how it goes then start adding other titles.

I also recorded part of this week's Earth Station One podcast tonight. With my schedule as packed as it is at the moment I've had to step back a bit so I wasn't able to do the entire episode.

I also got some interesting news that I'll share as soon as I get the go ahead. It's been a fun day.

Let's do it again tomorrow.

BUY AN AUTOGRAPHED COPY DIRECT FROM BOBBYNASH.COM

Testing out the buy autographed copies direct from me option here. I started with the novels, which you can find in the novels tab above. We're also trying out the option at http://BEN-Books.blogspot.com.

Fingers crossed.

If anyone out there tries it, I’d appreciate feedback.

If all goes as planned (he says with a laugh) I plan to set up a store on this website this coming week where I can sell autographed copies of my books direct from me to you, the customer. I’m pretty excited by the prospect of doing this.
More details when I have them.

Bobby Nash, Phantom Troublemaker, and Mike Gordon at Heroes Con 2013I attended Heroes Con a few weeks back and sat down with my Earth station One/Earth Station Who cohorts, Mike Gordon and The Phantom Troublemaker to record a segment about the con for Phantom’s Needless Things Podcast. You can listen to it here.

From The Phantom Troublemaker:
