Eventually the concept of the book was born and I thought it would be a disservice to not help as many couples as possible with the concept.(less)

Who spent more?
She went out with the girls last week and had a fun night. It's my turn this week.

Who contributed more?
Did we both do the same amount of chores this week? No wonder I'm tired.

Who gave up more?
I give way more to him than he does to me right now. He should sacrifice more for me. This isn't fair.

An important book for those seeking a deeper understanding of marriage and Gods heart and plan for it. But also a hard book to actually read. I’m new to Tripp and found his style dense, long winded and often confusing.

Timothy J. Keller
“To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty life can throw at us.”
― Timothy Keller, The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God

Timothy J. Keller
“The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.”
― Timothy Keller, The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God

E.M. Bounds
“The Word of God is the fulcrum upon which the lever of prayer is placed, and by which things are mightily moved.”
― E.M. Bounds
