‘Titmouse’
Still, I’m writing ‘Titmouse’ my latest nautical thriller... yes, longhand ( with new pen) before committing to mac ... but more than half way through now... though my characters are being held up with this blasted virus. And so getting them from A to B is ‘interesting’

Prada Cup Final ditty
Race 1
Bad Boy Jimini Spittle beat Big Ben at the start
Rita was dull as if embarrassed to fly
The umpires were harsh giving two penalties
Lord knows why
Shifts were fickle up the beat and not true
Though communication was good aboard ‘Rita’, it was chit a chat chat
Giles looked across at ‘Luna Rossa’ and Jimmy just flew
‘Ritas’ course predictable the Prada boat won
huh! nothing new..
Race 2
Britannia kept her big jib up
Whilst Luna Rossa did not change up nor down
Sir Ben (just as I told you last night)
He was sharp off the line and tho down post race interview was up for a fight
Ever the pugilist he took Jim-bob prisoner in the pre start fight
‘Rita’ was crisp as a newly bought Pringle
Watching her up the first beat here in bed at Hamble made my cold feet tingle
They won the first split up the first beat
A new boat, ‘Rita ‘ looked Bullish, British, Angry
She romped home winning all they beats & the runs
Textbook stuff from Sir Ben Giles & ‘Rita’s’ Grinders
Ben showed ‘Luna Rossa’ the way home
All six legs ‘Rita’ flew from boundary to boundary
Forged on just like British Steel that would never be beaten
Ben steered, helmed Giles called the shifts correctly one by one
Until the finish line until ‘Rita’ took the gun
Now Team INEOS is off the mark done
Which leaves tomorrow’s race
With the score five to one!

Titmouse by Nick Ward
Well now the biog is done & dusted, it’s time for another ripping yarn on the high seas!
‘Titmouse’ is a fictional thriller which begins with a murder, on the village Green of a small hamlet, Hamble, and leads the dedicated team of forensic investigators baffled as to the identity of the victim... until the lead detective finds a plastic carrier bag, the content of which allows the author to lead his readers deeper into complicated world of offshore sailing.
I’m writing it and even I cannot wait to write the ending!
