Comments about Delivery by sea
“ I read your book this morning on kindle and did up a review though I think it takes a few days to go on line. It’s great Nick - I really loved it, congratulations. The letter written by your father ‘Pa’ when you were in hospital was heartbreaking - and the whole book is an inspiring much deserved tribute to your wonderful wife. Well done and lots of love to you and Chris. What a great couple you are 💕”

It’s out! Delivery by Sea
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08VCJ4ZN...
Well, this book has been ‘on the stocks’ for years... but it is released into an uncertain world, and, even though I say so myself ...may bring some hope.
Please, if you buy it or read it
Review it ... good or bad.
Thank you.
Nick

Delivery by Sea
This is a book which I have had, ready to publish for a while. It is a biography and focuses on the subject of Epilepsy.
Aged 15 years, at school, and ready to finish my examinations, then start on a career at sea in the Merchant Navy.
This hope was dashed as I suffered a brain haemorrhage which forever changed the course of my life.
The resulting operation left me epileptic and so
'Delivery by Sea' describes a lifetime of coping with this condition. The book details how, I adapted to modifying my life around this condition.
The narrative describes all variants of the condition, the medication I take to prevent seizures, the side effects, how it affected my married life and helping to bring up two children, how they both helped me cope, how my wife coped, and how I managed to maintain a working life in the Marine Trade, whilst still actively participating in my chosen sport of sailing and yacht racing.
My intent, my hope for 'Delivery by Sea' is that it will help dispel much of the stigma which surrounds my condition.
Question: Is anyone interested?

Joan on the 23rd...
Hey!
Weather & writing eh?
Well, finally Joan is out of my mac and into the ether!
I do hope that you like Joan & the book
The cover is a pic taken by me & is of the beautiful, stained glass East window of St Andrew, the patron Saint of mariners

Joan...Thursday progress
Stitching the threads together for an ending... or ‘dah dah’ finale is interesting.
Across at least two time zones.
Getting there!
Stay safe!
Is all that matters.
