How to Experience a Stress-Free Romantic Relationship

Patrick Mukasa

According to journalist Patrick Mukasa, women who have surpassed the age of26 tend to possess more resourcefulness and understanding and such qualitiesmake them more suitable partners for men, especially those facing financialchallenges.

Mukasa's perspective questions age and financial compatibility inrelationships.

Patrick Mukasa, a Ugandan journalist, delivers a thought-provoking insightinto alleviating financial stress by offering a rather unconventional piece ofrelationship advice.

According to Mr. Mukasa, one effective strategy for troubled men to findrelief is to stay clear of dating women under 26.

“Materialistic stuff easily moved women in their early 20s, and afinancially struggling man will end up poor trying to please such a lady,” saidMukasa. Cut your coat according to your size. However, Mukasa clarifies thathis recommendation does not advocate pursuing relationships with sugar mummies.

Mukasa's words raised questions about age and money in relationships. Somepeople agreed with him while others strongly rejected the idea on the socialnetwork’s comment section:

"But they don't tell me their actual age, so how will I differentiatebetween a 26 and a 22-year-old?"

"It’s actually not about age if you ask me."

"But if fate lands you on a sugar mummy with pure intentions, why not?”

“You are correct."

"That gender fears nothing. Only God will save us, period."

OneWorld Singles Blog asked people on a popular social network if a womanover 26 tends to possess more financial resources and understanding when itcomes to having a stress-free romantic relationship. Following are someinteresting thoughts that were edited for clarity:

“Of course, people learn as they age. However, no relationship exists thatis completely stress-free. There is always negotiation, compromise, and sometimestough conversations to be had, even in a perfect relationship.”

“No such thing. The only stress-free life is living alone and never takingrisks. But when it's good, it's well worth the stress.”

“No relationship is ever entirely stress-free. Even being older than 26 or36, there is stress. But in my experience, after 30, I put up with a lot lessthan I did in my 20s. Therapy helps.”

“No relationship is stress-free.”

“What’sthe problem, Sasi?” Govada arched one eyebrow. “You don’t like what you see?”

“You’renot my type.”

Regardlessof her accusations earlier that he coerced submission from his sexual partners,he knew too many women who would kill to get into his bed.

Thatwas the truth but Sasi was not one of them. In his head, that tiny fact was notgood enough. He was Govada Pope Vincenzo Giordano and his name opened doors upand down the corridors of power in Areguaand, in the entire continents of North and South America.

All hislife, he had always had any woman, any frickin’ woman he desired, and that listmust now include Sasi, the women's rights campaigner turned his personalprisoner.

“Who’syour type?”

“Not you!”

Shakingher head, she kicked her restrained feet and her tits jerked up and down in herskin-tight black jumpsuit towing his eyes down to her cleavage.

Suddenly, all he could think about was whether, or not her tits were as perky as theyappeared.

“Takeoff your clothes, Sasi!”

“Whatthe heck?”

“Now!”

“Youwould have to rip it off. I’m not giving you that pleasure, Pope.”

“Why?You think you’re too good for me?”

“Idon’t want you, Pope. Get it through your skull.”

“Iwasn’t asking.”

“That’swhat I thought. Frickin’ monster!”

“Don’tmake me do it!”

Riledby her lack of respect, he strode to stand in front of her, grasped thebutton-down outfit by the neck, and pulled it apart with force, ripping it offher shoulders.

Severalbuttons circled in the air, hitting the ceiling and settling down on the rug inpeace.

Lookingdown at her ripped outfit, she gasped in shock. On his part, he growled andbacked away like he had been struck.

How Millennials Are Changing Destination Weddings Using Social Media

Millennials, born 1980-1995, are seeking weddingswith bragging rights. Do social media truly have that much of an impact onmillennial destination weddings?

"Big time," said Scott Wiseman,President of Travel Impressions. "Many agents get their leads fromreferrals and testimonials from other brides. Social media also helps directbrides to new hot spots and creates the buzz that helps to sell the wedding.Word-of-mouth has become even more powerful with the exponential influence ofsocial media and reviews. And user-generated content from one couple can easilyspread like wildfire and even go viral."

Millennials want their destination weddings tocreate buzz, which is where social media plays an enormous role.

According to Ivy Jacobson, senior editor at theKnot, destination weddings present many advantages for social media.

"The location and scenery are gorgeous, andguests will want to document the event on social media the whole time they'rethere," Jacobson said. "And having a hashtag is a must."

Photography becomes even more important inmillennial destination weddings. These clients want to share studio-qualityphotographs in real time, and not wait for a photo album to emerge monthslater.

Lockard-Furry, the founder of Traveluxe Official, said, "I have captured most of the weddings I've worked on really uniquelythrough their photographer."

Millennial couples are inviting destination-weddingattendees to download Veri for wedding photos.

It is important to set up a live-streaming videoof the ceremony for those who cannot attend.

Wiseman listed Breathless and Secrets as the bestbrands for millennial destination weddings.

"The first as an exhilarating hot spot, andthe second as a romantic luxury one," he said. Contemporary decor andadvanced technology appeal to this demographic.

Mexico's Unico 20.87 hotel also gets a good amount of socialmedia attention. It has free spa treatments and locally influenced detailswoven into its modern style. It has quickly become quite popular, especiallyfor destination weddings.

Kelly Poling, senior vice president of marketingfor Karisma Hotels & Resorts agrees that social media plays a big part formillennials. She stated, “Other social elements include making personalizedSnapchat filters, doing live streaming of the wedding for those who cannotattend to watch later, and providing photo/GIF booths on-site for guests topost photos instantly to their social platforms.”

"It's all about authenticity and capturing moments inreal-time," said Poling.

Why Your Honesty Is A Turn Off - Relationship Expert Warns Against A Huge Mistake You Are Making On Your First Date

We always hear that honesty is the best policy. I even hearda well-known actor state, “Always tell the truth and you’ll never have to tella lie.” Being entirely too frank may not be wise on your date.

Datingexpert Louanne Ward feels you should not be 'too honest' on a first date. Peopledo not need to know if you snore, talk to your mother, or know your body count. 'We have all been taught that honesty is the best policy, but there is adifference between being honest and oversharing, and every date is a screeningexercise for both parties. Every question you answer and every bit of information you give is data collected by your date to find your date-abilityscore.'

Louanneexplained, 'The only way you are going to get a second date is to have a highdate-ability score and you will not get that by sharing uselessinformation.'

Wardoffered some advice on what to say and what not to say on a first date:

·       Do not share how manydates you have been on.

·       Keep your mouth closedand let the other person do the talking so you can gather the information.

·       Reveal privateinformation on a need-to-know basis.

·       Not every date needs toknow the ins and outs of your life.

Please share or comment on this article. Thank you.

The Do’s and Don’ts of An Office Romance

Because so many people spend most of their timein the workplace, it is understandable how some individuals find pleasureand excitement in the office.

According to studies done in the UK, one in three people hashad a romantic relationship with a colleague, and 28 percent of working womensay they have had sex in the workplace.

However, secret trysts in the boardroom andchance encounters in the lift (elevator) can bring despair and intrigue to yourworking day.

Whether you are already romantically involved atwork, or just thinking about it, here is how to be ten steps ahead of heartache, embarrassment, and job loss.

Leave him if he is married. Youwill win very little support for your relationship and you can risk hiswife/girlfriend turning up at the office with a large tin of paint for yourcar. Relationship psychotherapist Phillip Hodson says: 'It's not a crime tofancy someone, but when there are families or other halves involved, you must thinkof the consequences.'

Flirt discreetly. Discretionis the key to a successful office romance. Brushing past someone or a stolenglance over the photocopier is far more enticing than draping your body overhis desk. Remember, people are watching. Subtle flirting allows you to maintainyour professionalism and keep an air of mystery between you and your object ofdesire.

Anticipate responses. Misreadingthe signals can be catastrophic. Is he smiling at you, or does he smile ateveryone? Be aware that many people put on a 'friendly' mask at work. You riskenormous embarrassment and possibly your job if you proposition the boss and hedoes not know who you are. Do the groundwork. If you think he is interested, build up a friendship. It will improve your chances for a long-termrelationship.

Decide whether to confide in colleagues - If you do not wantto be a regular feature of office gossip, it might be best to tell a few closecolleagues about your romance. That way people lose the intrigue and friends willnot feel excluded. However, workplace relationships can incite envy.

Think carefully about sex in the workplace. Itis all part of the package of an office romance, but if you do not want yourcloakroom exploits broadcast at the Christmas party, look out for securitycameras. It is better to save the passion for after-hours.

Watch your appearance. Donot try too hard to catch his attention. It only takes a bit more lipstick anda slightly shorter skirt for people to start chatting. If you do not wantcolleagues to suspect your motives and to avoid malicious comments, keep yourlook discreet.

Be careful with e-mails. Hitthe wrong key and the entire building will know how you like your strawberriesand whipped cream. It is likely that your company can access your e-mails, therefore,be cautious.

Beware of company law. Althoughthere are no specific laws that prevent office romances, your company mighthave its own policy.

Richard Isham, an employment lawyer at Wedlake BellAssociates, says, 'Office romances are usually frowned upon because of theissue of confidentiality. For instance, a company would be worried if the headof IT was in a relationship with another employee. Important securityinformation could be transferred during pillow talk. Allegations of misconductcan be made.'

Firms could also argue that office relationshipsencroach on company time and disrupt the office environment. Some employerswill expect you to change departments. Read your contract thoroughly.'

Ask him to marry you. Accordingto research, half of all workplace romances result in marriage. Try not to seemtoo eager, though. It is wise at least to ask him out before you ask him downthe aisle.

Make sure you are the only one. Phillip Hodsonsays, 'With any office romance', you have all your eggs in one basket; you arevery vulnerable.'

If you are going to risk your career, friends, and livelihood, then make sure he is worth it. If you know you are not thefirst office conquest, steer clear.

Worse, if you did not know, give yourself timeto cool down. Do not sit there plotting a Lorena Bobbit type of revenge, concurrentlyweeping uncontrollably. Talk about it after work with friends or family.

Would you engage in an office romance? Please leaveyour comments or opinions below.
