Retributioner: The Radicle Notion Of Accepting Her As Human by Shanu Shah

It’s nice and short. Quite gripping till the end. The story is about an oppressed woman’s life narrated by her neighbor. Despite the story being about a woman’s agony, it does not flow as a sob story theme all way long. So it will not leave you depressed by the end.

The narrator’s intro is short but I feel, her presence can be made more significant in the plot as she holds a strong position in Ananya’s life as a ‘friend in need’.

More Than 100 Pages by Aleen Bharati

It’s a nice collection of unique stories each conveying a different message.

These stories are very relatable. There touch the concepts of love, money, digital, world, death, parental mindset, studies, and much more. Every story will leave you thought provoked. Some of them would even want to rethink about your perspective on certain angles in life.

The best part of the book were the sketches that were added at the start as well as some places in between the chapters. It makes you visualize the story.

It is available on Amazon Kindle and Paperback.

Fire has no shadow by Rizvan Saiyed

It’s a thriller. I loved the way the story was narrated. It keeps you fixated until the end. Kudos to the writer.

The only point amiss was the start of the book. It’s a bit slow and difficult to connect the flow but later it catches pace and you keep going.

It is available on Amazon Kindle.

Bikram and Vitthal: The modern day re-telling of Vikram and Vetal , with a twist by Kanika Sharma

I loved the story and read it in one go. The reason being I could not keep it down as I was very curious to know what happens next. The narration and flow of the story are mystical so it keeps you gripped till the end.

There were two points that I wanted to add here, 1) too many chapters have been set out for acknowledgments, dedications, and about the author. 2) the books need some proofreading and editing for readers’ engagement.

All it’s a good mix of thriller and humor. Would love to read more.

It is available on Amazon Kindle.

TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR by JASMEET WALIA

The memories of this rhyme have been now replaced for me forever. This story has unexpected twists and I enjoyed reading it.

The only turn off was the editing, it was difficult to understand at places that the scene has changed. Also, the conversations went flying from here to there. In some instances, I had to reread to understand.

All In all a good short story but has a scope for improvement.

It is available on Amazon Kindle.
