How do and can you keep yourself and others accountable?
Many who misbehave are given chance after chance, without correction or consequence, and still continue to behave the same. Instead of allowing and continuing to enable bad behavior, Matthew provides perspective on how to approach bad behavior with accountability. He instructs, first, to "go and point out their fault, just between the two of you" (18:15); and if this does not work, secondly, have "one or two others" (18:16) step in. Lastly, if still not making a difference, take it to "the church" (18:17). Then, after three attempts, and no success, might you remove yourself from them, but continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. #TakeA3StrikeApproach
