Why offer encouragement?
There is nothing better than to receive encouraging words, from someone, especially after hearing disappointing news or having a tough day. For David, encouragement came from Jonathan, Saul's son, and Saul being the one who wanted to take David's life. Jonathan told David to "[not] be afraid. My father Saul will not lay a hand on you. You will be king over Israel, and I will be second to you. Even my father Saul knows this" (1 Samuel 23:17). So, if you take the time to notice and/or given the chance, might you "encourage...another and build...[them] up" (1 Thessalonians 5:11). #ShowSomeLove & #MakeSomeonesDay
