What can be taken and gained from a natural disaster?
Resilience, appreciation, humility and community come to mind, after experiencing 100 plus MPH winds that just devastated parts of Oklahoma this past week. For the Israelites, it was fear and trust (see Exodus 14:31), as "the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land...[as they] went through the sea" (14:21-22), so they could escape the Egyptian army. As you can see, even in destruction and devastation, there is much more good than bad to be had; and for affected Oklahomans, hopefully the same. #PuttingPowerInPerspective
