What does persistence accomplish?
Persistence can sometimes backfire, but can also prove worthwhile. "[Seeking] justice against [her] adversary" (Luke 18:3), a corrupt and unjust judge, was a widow. Because of the widow's persistence, the judge resolved her case and "[delivered] a just decision" (18:4-5). So, if you truly believe in something, might you remain persistent in prayer, patience, and faith, and He will "bring about justice for his chosen ones" (18:7).
