Why invest in friendships?
Difficult to find and more so to keep, but essential to one's well-being, are friends. For when you invest in friendships, you find your life to be more meaningful, not "meaningless" (Ecclesiastes 4:8 NIV); and when you have "a cord of three strands [it] is not easily broken" (4:12). So, instead of finding yourself alone, might you take the time to invest in others as "two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor, [and] if either of them falls down, one can help the other up" (4:9-10). #NothingLikeAFriend
