We all have a "cross" to bear, some more than others. As you carry your cross, how will you carry it? Jesus remarked that "whoever wants to be [his] disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow [him]" (Mark 8:34). Simon provided such assistance to Jesus as he carried his cross (see 15:21). So, the next time you see another with a heavy load, might you consider trying to help ease their pain and suffering, as did Simon for Jesus. #LightenTheLoad

How do you get through your grief?
No one can understand another's grief, except for The One who became human and willingly sacrificed his own self for the entire world. His sacrifice allows him to be able to identify with every soul and "wipe away every tear" (Revelation 21:4). So, if in need of comfort and understanding, might you let Him in to help. #LightenTheLoad
