How do you handle disappointment?
You will be disappointed, just as King David was, as God chose his son, Solomon, to "build a house" (1 Chronicles 28:2), instead of him. In lieu of being malicious, resentful and hateful, David remained composed and graceful, and encouraged his son to "be strong and courageous, and do the work...for the LORD God is with you" (28:20). So, when disappointment happens, might you take it and turn to someone who "cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7) and never disappoints. For He will help you handle the disappointment, as he did David, and channel it in such as way that will allow you to turn it in to growth and fuel you for what lies ahead. #LetHimStokeTheFlames
