When we are unable to see something, we have a hard time believing. This same mindset also goes for believing in a man who died for us and comes to our aid whenever we ask him. Even before us, Luke also shares the same mentality of not believing. He says that people, rich and poor alike, also, would not listen to Moses or the Prophets, or even be convinced if someone had risen from the dead (see 16:31). In order to change this mindset, consider what Oswald Chambers has to say. He says that "seeing is never believing;" and "we interpret what we see in the light of what we believe." #believingisseeing

What do you struggle to believe in?

Many believe, but more don't believe, in many things, especially Him, as they struggle with what they do not see. Jacob had those same struggles as he grappled, all night, with "a man" (Genesis 32:24); and, by dawn, became blessed (see 32:28-29), "saw God face to face" and "was spared" (32:30). So, instead of dismissing what is unseen, might you consider taking a leap of faith, just as you probably have done with your own likeness, to overcome your fears and dispel your doubts, through His Word, for a chance to believe in something that is real and true. #BelievingIsSeeing
