For the Love of Cowboys Contest
I love to do contests! And if they involve cowboys in some way, all the better.

Making a relaxing library area
Sometimes I get distracted from everything else I should be doing, like writing while on a deadline. I’m sure that never happens to anyone else. lol
Anyway, this weekend I decided to make a relaxing “library” like area out of my master bathroom. I’m one of those people who likes to take a long, soaking bath and read while there. I had recently found a shower curtain at Cafe Press that looked like a book laden bookshelf. It was perfect for cutting down to fit the window over my tub area.
Taking that whole theme a step further, I previously had this little rattan shelf thing over the back of the tub area. It had held my small rubber duck collection. Don’t ask me why I had started collecting them; it just happened. I found these neat fake decorative books at Michaels and they were perfect for that shelf, adding to the library theme.
I replaced my former framed photos from some of my travels with some of my framed book covers. They are in that tub area and at the other end of the room as well.
Now the private relaxing area is even more special to me.

Wearing a cowboy hat properly
Being in love with cowboys or the cowboy mystique isn’t unusual. I’m one of those people and I write about them, a lot. There is just something about a man in worn jeans, muscles hardened by real labor. Scuffed boots and cowboy hats also earn a cowboy lover’s attention.
Let’s focus on the cowboy hat today, more specifically how to wear a cowboy hat properly. For one thing, most “real” cowboys wear their hats down farther on their forehead. This is to help block the sun from their eyes.

Happy Dancing About a New Review for ACCEPTANCE

Here is part of what they said about my latest novella from Decadent Publishing and the 1 Night Stand Series.
For a short novella, this is a hot little number. Chase and Rico are manly men, masculine and strong. But in bed they have no trouble yielding to the other, an instinctive trust growing between them. They think so much alike they do belong together. The sex is hot. There are a few repetitive phrases but it doesn’t matter since this story is so sweet. The writing is solid, and we get insight into these men through their inner workings as they contemplate changing their lives, knowing someone will always be disappointed no matter what. I respected both men and wanted them to have their HEA. Recommended read.
