North Pole Magic-Boxed Set

Kris Kringle wants his kids married and he wants grandchildren. He is willing to interfere however necessary in his grown children’s lives until he gets his way.
The first story, All He Wants for Christmas, focuses on Santa’s daughter, Merry. Kris decides to play matchmaker between Merry and a cowboy, Nick Holiday, who had strayed away from celebrating Christmas. Merry has driven her father crazy long enough. Kris believes it’s time for another man to love and tame her wild ways. He gives her the task of working as Nick’s cook at his ranch and bringing him back to Christmas, healing his emotional wounds…or else be assigned the unpleasant, permanent role of manager of the Toy Factory.
The second story, Santa’s Surprise, focuses on Santa’s oldest son, Nicholas. Kris decides it’s time to retire as Santa and pass the role onto Nicholas, who also needs to get married and work on the grandchildren Kris wants. Nick has never wanted to take over the Santa role and steers clear of anything Santa related, going so far as to move to Kauai and run a tourist business there. Misty (Mistletoe) McGuire, a sexy little Hawaiian who collects Santa figurines and runs a Christmas shop, comes into his life and suddenly his world is changing. His dad is persistent. He is resistant. And Misty is caught in the middle of it all.
The final story, His Only Wish, Santa focuses on his youngest son, Pere Noel. Kris unhappily discovers that Pere has been lying to him. While visiting one day with his old friend, Pere Fouettard, the two fathers discover that their children have been married for almost seven years. Pere Kringle (now going by Perry Ingle) agreed to a marriage of convenience with Nikki Fouettard (now going by Nikki Ambrose) to keep both of their families from harassing them into getting married, when neither were ready to settle down. Now they must face their families, face the identity lies both have told, and discover the real reason neither have filed for an annulment.

It’s time for more holiday fun!
Do you remember, if you were lucky, having an advent calendar as a child? The traditional kind had small, perforated paper windows to open for each day of December. Each day’s window revealed a small surprise. Usually it was a piece of chocolate or candy. I never had one, but I envied the children who did. Guess what? Show Your Dark Side Blog Hop: Oct 9-31
I am taking part in KWA’s Show your Dark Side blog hop, which is focusing on villains for the month of October. To join in the fun, go to the Starla Criser website and find the other authors participating.
The following were my Goal, Motivation, and Conflicts for my villain from The Great Scottish Devil.
Villain: Alastair Sutherland
Background: In a vengeful act against Braden MacKay (Chief of Clan MacKay), he had Annabel (daughter) stolen as a baby. She was given to Dougal and Katherine Henderson, who owed him their lives and couldn’t have children of their own. They took her in and promised to keep her away from the MacKays and that part of the Highlands.
Goals: (Main) To never allow the MacKay clan to see Annabel again. (Short range) Locate Annabel (3) Have Annabel killed
Motivation/Inciting Incident: He learns through gossip that Annabel’s “family” are all dead now. He worries that she will somehow end up back with the MacKays.
Conflicts: (1) Annabel is alone now and could possibly end up somewhere that she would run into someone from the clan MacKay. (2) His hired mercenaries find Annabel now traveling and protected by Brodie Durward (New chief of Clan Durward of Urquhart). (3) He has his mercenaries hire another one (Angus) to go to be accepted as a knight with Brodie, but Angus struggles getting Annabel alone to kill her. (4) Angus hires a traveling tinker couple to lure Annabel away with them/bring her to him, but Brodie resists letting her leave his home. (5) He learns that Brodie sent a message to Braden MacKay about Annabel, questioning if she might be their missing daughter. The MacKay goes to see Annabel, but she has left with the tinkers. (6) Angus begins acting on his own. He kills the tinker couple, plans to rape and then kill Annabel. But he finds that she has run away while he dealt with the couple. (7) Annabel manages to kill Angus when they fight. His mercenaries find Angus’s body and tie her up. But Brodie and The MacKay arrive and kill them, free her. (8) He is furious that he must go into hiding now from Brodie and The MacKay.

#SatSpanks from The Sheriff and the Mayor
This is my first time visiting the Saturday Spankings fun, and I hope I do this right. Please, Twitter people, Twit this post if you can.
In this scene Cassie and Dalton are struggling with Cassie having announced her decision to run for mayor again, after having promised Dalton she wouldn’t. He’s less than thrilled as he drives them home from a community dinner.
His fingers lightly squeezed her leg. “You know that I don’t want to spank you. But you decided to go against a promise you made me. You didn’t even discuss it with me first.”
Tingles shot all the way through her body from his hand. She didn’t want to be spanked like a disobedient child. She didn’t want to be turned over his knee, have her bottom bared, and have him light a fire that she would feel long into the evening.
She would rather…well, that wasn’t going to happen!
