Obtain the One Thing You Want Most in 2016

I conducted an informal Facebook pollasking people to share with me one thing they’d like to be, do or have in 2016. The list they came up with was rather interesting. Some people listed more than one thing. Below are the answers given andthe percentage number of times each showedup.

Peace — 18.18% Health — 12.12% Wealth/Financial Goal — 12.12% Be a better person — 9.09% Love — 9.09% Career Goals — 6.06% Move — 6.06% Travel — 6.06% Weight Loss — 6.06% Confidence — 3.03% Growth — 3.03% Indepe...

Society’s New Unwritten Rule

The new unwritten law of society:

Political correctness and “tolerance” of every viewpoint, no matter how depraved it may be, is the new “self righteousness.” Popular opinion says that to be truly righteous one must accept every choice anyone wishes to make as completely acceptable and viable (except one later to be explained).

If you do not agree with a choice, if it violates your moral boundaries, and you speak out against the behavior, you have committed the unpardonable sin of “hate speec...

The One Thing That Will Protect Us from Terrorism

heal their landPeople are scared, rightly so. Our government doesn’t seem to have the ability to protect us, yet people continue to cry to political leaders for aid. I do not believe this is the answer. There IS an answer and I will share it freely with you in this post. But first a little explanation …

After 9/11 people turned to God, cried for help, and many Americans had a renewed sense of their need for God’s guidance. In the following years, through the hand of Providence, there were very few attacks o...

Are You a Flake or a Fraud Because You Have to Change Directions?

Someone recently accused me of lacking integrity because I have offered various products and services over the last 3 years. She saw my offers as disjointed and unconnected. Of course, I see the connection, but she doesn’t.

Just to give you a little backstory …

When I lost my multi-six figure business literally overnight due to Google changes, I was left to reinvent myself. To be honest, I wasn’t exactly sure what that was supposed to look like. I doubt there are many people whose careers bec...

My Philosophy on Collaboration

Regina Reiter of ForgivenessWalks.com asked me this question in a Facebook group she runs, “Marnie also taught me about collaboration. Marnie, can you share something with us about the Principle of Love in collaboration?”

I love this question! Here’s my best attemptto explain inwords the feelings I have about “quantum collaboration.”

In my experience, collaboration only “pops” synergistically when we first love ourselves and are grateful for the gifts and contribution we bring.

Competition Vs....

Regardless Of Appearances, I Choose to Believe

It was such a gorgeous day, I decided to go for a walk. I feel soblessed to live in this beautiful place.

It’s the first time I’ve been out here since our neighbor planted sod. I sat down to enjoy it and was so overcome with the beauty of it that I started to cry. To think 2.5 years ago this field was overgrown with briers, bushes and trees.

I stood out here and spoke aloud the new life I chose. In prayer I co-created the lifchoose to believee I envisioned with God —

That this field would be cleared and bea...

Would You Change Anything?

This morning I found a new song by Sara Bareilles. I often feel like Sara has written the soundtrack to my life. This song is no different, “She Used to Be Mine” may not feel like exactly where I am now, but I think it’s a great snapshot of some points along my path. Especially, in those times where Iscrewed up royally and longed for the girl or woman Iused to be.

I’ve listened to this song several times today and had a conversation with my mom about it. (Love, my angel Mama, by the way.)

Cli...

Easter Bunny Freedom Test

I believe 99% of society’s problems could be solved by understanding basic principles of freedom. Yet, most people make freedom a lot more complicated than it has to be. That’s why I’d like to employ our friend the Easter Bunny to explain freedom in a way that even a child can understand it.

Easter bunny basketLet’s say you believe in the Easter Bunny. In fact, you greatly admire and believe all things Easter Bunny. Pastel colors are the best, baskets beat purses, and chocolate and boiled eggs are daily diet.
