VIDEO GAMES RUINED MY CHANCES AT ROMANCE and I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT😭

THANK GOD this woman spoke up before I ruined my life with the wild debauchery of Video Games and Bird Watching… no, wait, wait, I am too late. All is lost.

I have done everything on this list except Taxidermy and Gambling.💔

I am so sorry, but I must go tell my Husband and Children goodbye as I am not attractive enough for them🥺

If only I had known this before, I would never have played all the vIdeo games since Pong, including all the DOOMs, or learned to make a coin disappear and I would have never written my 9-book SciFi series...😖

and I would have told my Father to stop DOING ALL THE THINGS, before he ruined hIs chances at romance with my Mother by playing the NES-😭

But she was too busy playing SuperMario with him so he probably wouldn't have listened anyway💖

You can see how much she hates his Hobbies - including that model train in the Basement where they made love at least twice OH I KNOW MOTHER YOU ONLY THOUGHT YALL WERE HIDING IT

Or maybe, just maybe, we should stop listening to Random Internet Strangers who rob life of all joy, and stop demanding Men and Women like EXACTLY THE SAME THINGS…

go find Romance with someone who loves YOU -

and stay away from Haters who don’t.

TO WARSH OR NOT TO WARSH? Ending the Great Chicken Washing War

So the Chicken Washing War has fully engulfed the universe, and I never even knew there was a question about this. My Mother washed each chicken as if it had the plague, and I just assumed this was the natural course of things. But evidently I was wrong, and the whole thread of society is becoming unravelled over this one topic. Never mind politics, or natural disasters, or whose Baby Daddy is in charge of the next Birthday Bash, THIS is the question for our times:

Do you wash your chicken before cooking?

Now, a properly washed chicken is not ‘washed’, it is WARSHED, because when pronounced properly, this denotes extra and vigorous scrubbing. Do not ‘@’ me, infidel, we all know this is correct. But I am somewhat more benevolent about the whole ‘wash chicken vs do not wash chicken’ debate, for we are living in a modern Apocalpyse, and the young peoples must be educated unless we all end up with death. There is a reason we pray over food - because, back in the days, it could kill us. But I needed a source…

and here it is.

My Mama's Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook 1953... my Holy Grail of Cooking WILL have the answer. Notice the Cake Batter from my 1st Birthday still clinging to the cover 💖😭

Gaze upon the beautiful Meat page... the glazed Ham still glistens, even from beyond the gates of Heaven, to be served with collard greens and homemade cornbread... but what about chicken?

The answer lies within, my mother's reason for everything - for even as her mother taught her, so the book would tell her in 1953:

SHE HAD TO PLUCK THE CHICKEN FIRST😲 THEN PROCESS IT

And so this gorgeous creature continued to wash the everliving fork out of each chicken, long after the days of plucking were gone, until her last delicious pan-fried chicken was cooked. She knew someone had to catch that chicken.

These Potato-Cam Chickens are Pet Chickens and will never be eaten💖

So the answer is:

Do what your Mama told you 💖 when it comes to cooking, that answer will always the best…

it is an answer born from love.

As the world spirals into Chaos, the inevitable “Who’da thunkit” moment arrives, accompanied by the usual wailing and gnashing of teeth from the usual suspects. But another phenomenon is unveiling itself from the Halls of DOOM, as a collective 'I told you so” seeps from rightfully indignant Apocalypse Authors.

Now, I am not alone in my protestations that my series was supposed to be Science *FICTION*, not Science *FACT*. Yet here I am wondering if I really need to write these next few chapters just so The Powers That Be won’t use WATCHER of the DAMNED as a manual for disaster…

I would be honored, however, if my Series is used as a manual for the New Revolution. I will stash some physical copies away to survive the coming Swarmageddon.
