This actually surprises me. I figure we’d have at least gotten a ‘There are no UFOs’ (which is the overwhelmingly likely, if boring answer). Instead… nothing about the UFOs.

Rooftops!
The two of them had taken to the old buildings after Oxman had ‘felt something funny’ coming from the ground. Nat hadn’t felt it, himself, but he also didn’t argue. He could sense stuff Oxman couldn’t, after all. And since neither of them wanted to stay out in the open anyway, breaking into abandoned houses and shops, climbing up, and traveling via rooftop was appealing.
It wasn’t working out exactly to plan, though.
As usual, the door to the roof opened with one hard shove from Oxman. But then, getting to the roofs was never a problem, and neither was jumping from building to building. The trick was getting across the streets. Old American roads were ridiculously wide, and had none of the overhangs you got in modern towns. Both men possessed certain items that quietly and discreetly boosted their ability to leap in straight lines, but every few blocks the two simply had to descend, sneak across one of the side roads, and make their way back up.
They stayed up top as much as they could anyway. It was that or stay on the ominously quiet streets — or worse, see what horrors the sewers held. In the Marcher lands, you only did that when you absolutely had to. You never knew what would be down there, except that it would always be filthy.

Gee, I wonder what that will be about? “Robert Eggers is reteaming with Focus Features after the phenomenal success of Nosferatu becoming the studio’s second highest grossing movie stateside with $90.5M behind Downton Abbey, and that is with the new genre movie Werwulf.”
Via Geek Tyrant. If you like horror movies at all, do not sleep on NOSFERATU. It is a good vampire flick, solidly based in its time period. I assume that WERWULF will be the same way, and that it will not be a happy-shiny werewolf movie. Eggars doesn’t roll that way.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of the Zone Kickstarter/Fan movie.
They crowdfunded this a couple of years ago: the movie is based on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 video game. I’ve just started said movie, and so far S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of the Zone has been pretty dang good. I’m gonna go back to watching it now.

“Where are all the damn house monsters?” Oxman grumbled as they climbed another set of stairs. They weren’t quite rickety, but the centuries were finally taking their toll of the ancient structures. “I haven’t even seen a giant roach.”
“Don’t tell me you’re one of those guys who likes the taste,” Nat responded. “You know what those things eat? Everything! Including the stuff you wouldn’t touch yourself.”
“Hey, sometimes roachmeat was all we had, growing up.” Oxman grinned at a memory. “My ma knew how to roast them up right.”
“Roachmeat was sometimes all we had, growing up,” Nat retorted. “That’s why I won’t eat it now.”
“More for me. Well, if we had any.” Oxman frowned. “Nothing that would eat them, either. Is this entire town monster-free?”
“I dunno. Ask the Gigglers.”

The KRAVEN THE HUNTER Honest Trailer.
I’m surprised. Honest Trailers noted that there were some good action sequences in KRAVEN THE HUNTER. I was expecting them to pan the entire thing. Maybe it’s not entirely bad?
