Still trying to find an artist for the short story book cover.
It’s proving oddly difficult to find one. Suggestions welcome; I was thinking of a webcomic artist, but I’ll consider other sorts if I like their artistic style. And can afford it, for that matter. I’m offering a decent rate for it but not rock-star prices.
Still could use a beta reader for the short story collection.
If you’re interested, let me know in comments (or email me if you have it). It’s gotta be done by the end of September, though. I want to make sure there’s plenty of lead time for the editor.
So, anybody play the MARVEL’S AVENGERS game yet?
I am getting the impression that, once you get past the fact that they don’t look anything like the people from the movies, MARVEL’S AVENGERS Does Not Suck. Should I be getting it for my kids for Christmas? — It’s not on the PC, I think.

We are going on holiday posting schedule.
Basically, I don’t really have a dang thing to say today. We’re going to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 this evening and my wife’s gonna make s’mores on the charcoal grill. It’s technically a holiday weekend and I should probably spend a good bit of it catching up on my sleep. Hell, maybe I’ll even have a beer.

Not too much done today.
Worked on the sonnet, and attended Zoom meetings about next week’s back-to-sitting-in-front-of-their-computers-to-do-lessons-while-I-play-administrative-assistant schedule for my kids. And I shouldn’t even really complain. Reading between the lines, I think the county schools are assuming that the kids are going to be at home by themselves and trying to navigate all of this while their parents are at work. Since my wife is still telecommuting and this is my job… welp. I’m sure other people would be happy to trade with me.

Apparently, NO TIME TO DIE is Daniel Craig’s last Bond movie. I kind of got out of the habit of watching these. I’m not sure why: I liked CASINO ROYALE and SKYFALL. Just ran out of free time, I guess. Anyway, out in theaters in November, not that it matters for me right now…
