The good news: THE BLOOD-RED SPHINX Dark Adventure Radio Theater is now available for preorder. The bad news? …No CD. Digital download only. The HPL Historical Society crunched the numbers, and there just aren’t enough people like me buying these to justify pressing CDs for it. We’re getting more props, instead.

Via @DaddyWarpig. The DOOM in all of this isn’t “AI,” by the way (and for once). It’s “user-generated.” I’m sure they think that they already have a handle on handling, ah, inappropriate prompts. I assure you, they do not. They never do. They never do.

I so badly want to see this happen, now. Preferably, with beer and snacks at hand. Sometimes, you just want to watch the world burn, too.

Look for the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) label when using these sources. That allows commercial as well as noncommercial use. Just make sure to attribute, since you’re technically working off of the photos of the artwork, not the artwork itself!

…Well, that went surprisingly smoothly.

Popped out the old video card, popped in the new, the computer loaded the driver for me, twenty minute job. Because I was ready for it to be all afternoon, naturally. That’s how these things go.
