The GODZILLA X KONG: SUPERNOVA… now-in-production trailer?
I dunno, whatever, man. When it comes to things like GODZILLA X KONG: SUPERNOVA, I am not fussy. Giant radioactive lizard. Giant ape. A bunch of humans that were in the last movies, I guess. Things go smash.
Laurel Main Street Festival tomorrow!
Up at six AM, over there by six-thirty, and I would dearly love for that to be later, except it’s gonna be insane if I aim for seven-thirty instead. Parade at 9 AM, festivities until 4 PM, and then we move Heaven and Earth to repack the car. This is gonna be a fascinating time, and I have no idea if it’s going to be successful. I figured that I should at least try it once, though.
Come to the Main Street Festival tomorrow if you’re in Laurel! The weather’s gonna be nice. If you can’t make it, buy my books here.
Flowchart! (Fermi Resolution Worldbook adventure.)
I spent the afternoon working out the flow of the adventure for the Fermi Resolution Worldbook Backerkit adventure:

Now that I have a path for the adventure, I can turn my notes into scenes, and scenes into acts, and the acts into an actual adventure. That’s a huge part of all of this, right there. After that it’s just a matter of layout, artwork, and publication.
I am determined not to get too far behind on this one.
Bleg for good flow chart generator suggestions.
I need to work on the Fermi Resolution Worldbook adventure, and I think that generating a flow chart would let me visualize what I need to write. What do people use for making those? I’d like something specifically designed for that use; that it be a desktop app, not online; and I don’t mind spending a little money for it.
Suggestions?

Lord of the Rings: The Hunt For Gollum is coming, apparently for our sins.
There was a time that this would have pleased me. Now I’m just worried they’re going to screw it all up somehow. This… has not been a good couple of decades for beloved franchises.
Get ready to return to the shadows of Middle-earth! Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have officially announced that The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt For Gollum will hit theaters on December 17, 2027.
This new chapter marks a major reunion of the original trilogy’s creative dream team. Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens, the powerhouse trio behind both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, are back on board to produce not one, but two new films set in J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved world. They’ll be joined by producer Zane Weiner, who also worked on The Hobbit films.
They mention Ian McKellan, later on. …You know who they don’t mention? Viggo Mortensen, that’s who. Say what you like about the man, but I’m having difficulty imagining anybody besides Mortensen in that role. Or rather, I can imagine it — but then I start laughing. In horror.

PS: Why, no, I am NOT optimistic about this film. What gave it away?
Item Seed: Blandot’s Emotdion.
For Unfiltered. I’m also trying to recharge my batteries by just writing some stuff that I feel like writing, instead of grinding deadlines every day. I don’t want to burn out.

The Mother’s Day / Convention Season TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION Super-Sale!

I have decided to put TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION Vol 1: SHADOW OF THE TOWER on 99 cent sale, starting Saturday morning. This will coincide with the town festival I am doing that day, will also be the day before Mother’s Day, and will hopefully juice some sales generally. It’s been a rough couple of months. So, check it out if you haven’t, yet!

In the Mail: Black Mountain (DCC).

DDC standing for ‘Dungeon Crawl Classics:’ Black Mountain is old school retro-gaming. It’s also a good example of how many more opportunities there are now. We can just all make stuff. Make it, get it laid out, get it printed, sell it… for all I was (and am) annoyed about getting my own game done, the fact remains: this all would have been infinitely more difficult twenty years ago. I’m glad we live in the future.
Tweet of the Day, …Well, THAT Was Quick edition.
If true, it was very quick. No idea who it is yet, though.
