Reviews can (and often do) go both ways. I try not to stress too much about them, but I am always nervous when that first review hits for one of my new releases, concerned that it starts with a low rating. So, a little relief for now, as we begin with a good review. We have about 20 additional "Advance Reader Copies" out there with reviewers, and we will continue to await their reviews anxiously.

I had so much fun writing Hollister McClane. I always wanted to write a picaresque with a female lead character, and it is finally being published. Hollister McClane was the fourth novel I wrote (of nine), and my fourth to publish; so, maybe a bit of karma there!
