Mary Anne Cassata (also known as M.A. Cassata) has always been fascinated by pop culture. Her diverse writing career has included such print and online publications as Variety, Hollywood Reporter, USA Today, The New York Daily News, American Songwriter, People Weekly, and others.
Cassata has penned several books on celebrities including David Bowie, Ariana Grande, One Direction, Cher, Elton John, Jim Carrey, Britney Spears, Michael J. Fox and The Monkees. She was the Editorial Director at Faces and Popstar! Publications which published entertainment/teen magazines. Cassata continues to contribute to a variety of entertainment-oriented publications.

She is currently working a new entertainment-themed book.
