Movie Monday (Music Video Edition): Farmer's Daughter
Today's Movie Monday selection was sent to me from my friend Luke over at Buy.Caron.com. It's not technically a movie but in the way that many music videos are, it's certainly cinematic in its own right. You may remember from the contestant-inspired, crocheted Lilly Earrings I posted a pattern for a year ago that we Caron peeps are a sucker for crafty, American Idol-ers. That said, you can imagine

My daughter; a knitter in the making!
Yesterday, I came into the room to find my daughter Clover pretending to knit on a Sheep(ish) project for an upcoming issue of Crafts & Things Magazine. What do you think, do we have a future knitter-in-the-making? *sniff, sniff*Stitch.Rock.Love,VickieP.S. I apologize for the ear-piercing decibal of my voice in the vid. The cuteness apparently interferes with my vocals. ;-)

What's Your WIP?
It's been a (looooong) while since I've shared a WIP--but hey, no time like the present, right? I'm currently working on a simple, crocheted scarf using a double-strand of Sheep(ish) in colors, Magenta(ish) and Plum(ish). I have an unnatural love for how these two colors are working together! What are you knitting or crocheting, right now? Show me your WIPs! ;-)Stitch.Rock.Love,VickieFollow me on

Movie Monday: Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
This week's festival o' knitwear comes courtesy of the kick-butt movie, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Completely original (and loads of fun), this flick softens the (many) blows with an abundance of knitwear!Ellen Wong as "Knives", Wearing an Extra-Long, Striped ScarfFingerless GloveMary Elizabeth Winsteadas "Ramona", Wearing a Stockinette Stitch, Cropped PulloverMichael Cera as "Scott", wearing

Movie Monday: It's Kind of a Funny Story
It's Kind of a Funny Story is actually, well, a great story. A confused teen checks himself into a psychiatric hospital, and finds his way through the eyes of the mentally astray. Oh, and thinking I wouldn't notice all of the knitwear onscreen--well, that's just crazy.Stockinette Stitch BeanieEmma Roberts as "Noelle", wearing a Cabled CardiganRibbed, Super-slouchy HatLauren Graham as "Lynn",

The Mothercraft Blog!
As a mother of 3 let's face it, much of my life revolves around parenthood. This subject is obviously, really important to me and so I'd love to start sharing more about it. I get however, that not all of my crafty readers, give a tangled yarn ball about funny kid quotes, unfortunate parenting moments, or stories from the motherhood trenches. So, in addition to the blog you're reading right now (
