Let it wash over you, do other things, read a lot, and it will pass and you will feel the urge to write again. Accept it and don't stress over it. Another approach is to dig in -- just sit down and make yourself write! Even if what you are writing is junk, you are loosening the bonds that were holding you back, and you will eventually be ready to work on your real stuff again. Interviews

My series of interviews with children of Holocaust survivors is gaining quite a following! So far, 5 interviews have been posted on my blog. Each person's story is unique, which makes this project so fascinating. The responses to these interviews have been heartwarming.
This project is an extension of the research I have done for my two novels, Escaping the Whale and the prequel The Whale Surfaces. Read more of this blog post »

“Enough, you girls," their father said...
"Why Should I?" Marcia yelled. "You should go talk to her. Tell her she's an idiot! I was being creative, like she said! It just wasn't exactly the kind of creative she wanted.”

“Marcia though of her growing-up years as a prelude. A prelude to what -- real life? Personal contentment? Joy and abandon? No more nightmares?”
