I like to entertain, read, travel, golf, and eat.

I am a cultural anthropologist and the author of Searching for Whitopia. My writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post and elsewhere. Also, I've appeared as a commentator on MSNBC and CNN.
