2021 March Author update

Hey guys,

It is that time again to give you all an update what I’m working and the author news in my circle.

Vestige Anniversary

Book one turned one year old the sixteenth! 🙂 Thanks again to all of you who made my dream as author possible and the lovely readers willing to give it a chance.

Before pandemics, masks, and hysteria, I buckled down for almost nine months (May-ish to March) writing, rewriting, editing, and rewriting again to churn out this book.  I’m proud to be an a...

Worldbuilding with Evelyn Puerto

Hey Guys,

A guest post from the inspirational Evelyn Puerto discussing worldbuilding for newly released Fantasy novel and how she’s managed it. So without further ado, I’m gonna let her take it away.

Enjoy.

Worldbuilding

If you’re a lover of fantasy, then you know the delight of immersing yourself in a book and the world where the story takes place. I still remember finishing the Narnia books and longing to be able to open a door and find my way there. Or wishing that Middle Earth existed,...

February Author Update

Hey guys,

It’s that time again for the latest author news. If you’re new here, welcome!

Every month I try to post twice a month, and one of them being an author update.  Here in my latest author news where I spill the good, bad, and the ugly of what I’m up to. (The other post being something vaguely writing, or fantasy related. 😉 )

Be sure to subscribe to stay up to date. But with all that out of the way, let’s dive in.

Vestige is now on Audiobook!

In case you missed it, Vestige Ri...

2021 Fantasy and Sci-fi book fair

Hey guys,

I recently entered book one in my series, Vestige Rise of the Pureblood, into C. L. Cannon’s Fantasy and Sci-fi book fair.

My eBook edition is dropped to 99 cents as of 11 AM EST. So this is a great chance to pick it up for a steal. Or if you’re in Kindle Unlimited, you can read it for free.

The book fair includes a give-away and most books are discounted or free for the promo, so you might find something that interests you.

This month’s update should come in a week or so. Stay tuned.

Lafonda and Leo Second Sneak Peek

Here’s the first chapter in case you missed it. If not, welcome to chapter two.

Enjoy;)

Chapter Two

Greetings, dear reader. Last we left our heroes, they had encountered a ferocious troll under a bridge. Rather cliché with you ask me. The troll leapt from the shadows like “Boo!” And Leo shook like a young chihuahua, and- What? You remember?

What about Luna with her spoon, growls, and fur. Surely there must be more to say about her being a were…

Oh. Yes, I see. Well, what am I here for then? I sw...

Active Alumni’s New Anthology Release

Hey guys,

Just thought I’d share this.

A few writer buddies of mine at the Active Alumni Writers came together and published an anthology of short stories that launched today.

Even though, I’m not in it; the book might be worth checking out. It’s about a ride share driver who waits up in psychiatric ward, trying to uncover how he got there with police, recalling his passengers. Each passenger is a separate story.

Full disclosure, I haven’t read it yet. Usually Amazon has a look-inside feature, b...

New Surprises Soon?

Hey guys,

It’s that time again for another monthly update on what I’m working on and what you guys can expect.

My First Audiobook

Admittedly, this one caught me off guard. It finished so fast. I’m excited for you guys to hear it for yourselves and to release it to the world. When exactly it’s dropping, I’m honestly not sure. Right now it’s tied up with the distributor, and once they green light it, the story goes live. I’m still not sure what’s the holdup; it’s been almost two weeks.

Needless to...

46 Magical Treats to Sweeten your D&D Game

Hey guys,

So in my D&D home game, there’s this abandoned candy factory in the desert and I’ve had a lot of loose ideas for story hooks for it and I’d came up with the idea of magical candies.

These would be consumable items for the players to use that have unknown magical effects. Maybe they’re wonderfully good, or just straight nasty.

Long story short, after coming up with many of my own, I polled the wonderful people of Facebook’s 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons Uncensored group for inspirati...
