Overcoming the Inactivity

My last post was about writing and not writing, or shall I say, writing and writing even when not writing. But today, I have come back to elaborate more on what exactly do you do when we hit the stage when we are not writing and just observing. Suffice it to say, we have byContinue reading "Overcoming the Inactivity"

For a very long while now,  longer than weeks and months, longer than I’d like to admit, I haveContinue reading "On writing and not writing"

On writing and not writing

Inactivity in life leads to more inactivity leading to further uselesssness and further hopelessness in life. By inactivity I don’t mean a day or two of languid leisure, whatI mean is an endless strech of unknown happenings. For a very long while now,  longer than weeks and months, longer than I’d like to admit, I have been waiting, for an iota of will, for some motivation, for some sign that writing, or to be precise words will come to me. But they haven’t. To be honest, it is not only writing t...

Shoulders

I haven’t read a few pages in ten days

Haven’t looked at the books in a long time

No paperbacks, no hardcovers,

No ebooks, no audiobooks.

I haven’t sat down to drink a glass of water in peace

I forget the taste of coffee

I gulp it down, hot and fast

Haven’t heard the voice of a tune

No melodies echo, only cranky cankerous crowd

My legs ache of standing up

My knees wobble of nervousness
