David Dabling answered Goodreads's question: Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story? The bravest of them had slipped into the water to avoid swamping the boat. He made eye contact with the starving men in the boat, knowing he would not be in the water long. But I am not very good with horror. In fact I am horrible at it.
